I went undefeated with Outfit at the 1st London CO earlier this year but wanted to try something different with Outfit. Santa's 2B2D is fun deck that can win remarkably quickly but has a tendency to stutter and will fold against brutal Esa and a well oiled Hoshiko.

Wins vs Lat and Omar (nice to see the Omar out in the wild before retirement) followed by two losses to brutal Esa and a well oiled Hoshiko. Great day, great venue and a shout out to the TO and players for making it a success.

Love to see the deck played!

I've done a lot of additional testing with the deck since.

The skill ceiling vs Esa can be rather high. Its something that I've found if you're piloting vs a tuned Esa that knows exactly what you're doing its going to be almost unwinnable. However, vs the general crowd in swiss, when they don't know the variant of outfit you're on, you can def scrape out wins with it, particularly with the Two Big News Deal variant I created (2-1 in swiss, and 3-0 with it in the last two COs I went to with it, including a solid Esa win).

I actually think this list is rather favored vs Hosh. It definitely requires tempo'ing out before they are setup through, and being able to hit the 4 bad pub for reg-caps to pressure the win. Bating with NGO's can be super useful in this matchup to put them behind on tempo. Also, if they give you a window/you have the right ice slow scoring an Atlas with counters can push the matchup heavily in your favor.
