Intro
During UK nats the Aldershot meta chatted about jank formats for a January event, the idea of only playing Odd cost or Even cost cards came up and the format was born

Rules are you can either have odd or even cost cards in you deck (zero cost are banned) For Agendas rhe advancement requirement is used instead of cost

I tried a few different factions and there are plenty of viable decks but I settled on this one as it felt the most consistent.

The Deck
The econ/draw package built itself with Sure Gamble, Daily Casts, Creative Commission, Telework Contract, Fermenter and Dr Nuka. Simulchip was added to be used in case of rigshooting/SDS and I could reinstall Fermenter too, Hush was DJ Fenris originally but in a last minute change I opted for Hush I opted for Aumakua as any even cost corp deck would not have access to Mavirus so they'd need to manually purge which would set them back quite a bit, I then added the other breakers as well so I would have a rounded breaker suite I built the deck and knew I needed some multiaccess I then realized that my ice breakers were all odd so I added Khusyuk, I then added Cyberdelia as another 3 cost and to help with MU

The Games
Round 1 - Zoehope - (Lose) Zoe was playing a Weyland Built to Last deck (Odd), we only had 10 minutes so we both had to play fast. She scored an early SDS while I was drawing for breakers, I kept poking R&D for single accesses but didn't see any agendas, I managed to get some breakers down as time as called, managed to steal a 3/2 but was unable to steal anymore and Zoe got a well deserved win

Round 2 - Swiftie - (Won) Swifie was playing an NEH deck (Even) which he had shared with me a few days before, I had not offered him such courtesy. I focused on trashing his key asset cards (Wage Workers, Daily Business Show and amani senai) as he had to be playing 4/2 agendas and without Wage Workers he could not sneak any out. He build a scoring remote and scored 2 4/2s while I was setting up. While poking R&D I stole a 4/2, I then stole a 4/2 from the scoring remote. He scored a 2/1 leaving the score at 5-4 to him, I then trashed a wage workers so he installed an agenda in the remote while Oppo Researching me, I couldnt clear 3 tags and get the agenda as I made the error of installing a daily casts instead of playing Creative Commission the turn earlier. I then stole the agenda, checked R&D which had nothing, then ran HQ where I hit the 1/4 chance and stole the winning agenda

Round 3 - xccam - (Won) xccam was playing a AoT deck (Even) he installed 3 econ assets early which I left and he quickly got a lot of money and was able to start scoring out while I setup, I got a decent amount of money and was able to start charging Aumakua as HQ and Archives were uniced, like the previous game I ensured I trashed Wage Workers so he couldn't never advance a 4/2 out. He would purge occasionly but I was able to charge back up and had my full breaker suite out as well. I used Tao to dismantle the remote onto R&D. I managed to steal the winning agenda from the remote with Khusyuk in hand if I needed it as well

Round 4 - Loki - (Won) Loki was playing a BtL deck (odd), he tried to push a City Works behind some ice, I set up econ and drew for breakers while pressuring centrals, this delayed Loki in scoring, in the meanwhile I had stolen a SDS while farming Aumakua tokens from HQ. He scored the city works and began to stablise I managed to steal another SDS from central pokes. By now all centrals are getting iced with high strength ice and I had been purged by a Mavirus. I setup econ and went for a 6 card Khusyuk which got me the winning agenda

Conclusion I had a lot of fun not only playing the event but preparing for it, trying to figure out not only what decks I would play but what others would play was an interesting puzzle to solve. It would be nice if Even corp had a way to purge without losing too much tempo, maybe unban Cyberdex Sandbox?

Thanks to Loki for organising the event Thanks to everyone attending was a fantastic event and I hope to see you all again soon
