i was originally going to use this decklist writeup to respond to the slanderous accusations that crim sucks and that it's the worst faction. However instead i'm going to refer back to whiteblade's original thesis which still remains true even in a post WT ban world. If you still take the stance that crim sucks, fite me ur wrong
instead, i want to use this decklist writeup to take the stand and make a public bid for the event everyone is talking about
NSG OP, take a look, it's undeniable, ,
worlds is due to be in europe next year and there are plenty of great locations but none so wanted by the people as Dublin, Ireland. And for great reason. we may be a small city but ireland is a hugely popular holiday destination for europeans and americans alike. we're located in a very handy spot where we're about 2.5 hours away from most of europe with direct flights available, and plenty of flights to and from the north america use dublin as a layover destination. Especially the east coast you can very easily fly direct to
not to mention that dublin has plenty of great locations to host worlds! we have a lot of great hotels and convention spaces, including the Convention Centre which hosted the 2019 edition of WorldCon, the historic scifi convention home to the Hugo Awards. We have a track record of hosting these large international events and we have the logistics and infrastructure to support it
not to mention ireland's rich gaming history. Aside from the fact that we are the tiny atlantic rock that the great John Romero calls home, we are home to a tonne of tabletop gaming conventions which cast aside the expo style format for a weekend of board gaming, larping, rpging, and more. The irish gaming scene permeates through every college and university in the country, and we have so many board gaming bars and cafes (most of which are now non alcoholic too) in Dublin and elsewhere
"but anarcho", i hear you doubters begin, "what about the netrunner scene? you have a small nats? surely it should go to a more bustling scene?" A fair argument in some ways, but an unfair one in others. Yes, we are small, but we care! We are a passionate community who have grown from genuine 0. And we have had our successes! Mike Sheehan won euros in 2017, Alan Noonan made top cut at worlds in 2015, and of course, Mr Nationals himself, AugustusCaesar is a proud member of the Irish meta. Yes we may be small and off on our own, but we are proud and mighty and we bloody love Netrunner!
so NSG OP, listen to the community. If you believe in Dublin Worlds give this deck your likes, your favourites, your comments. Show NSG that the people want Dublin Worlds. There are many many great places to run worlds but I think there's a great opportunity to worlds in Dublin next year. We're well connected to both europe and america, we're a popular holiday destination with tonnes of amazing tourist attractions and some really beautiful rural landscapes and historical landmarks (we're also small so you can easily travel anywhere in the country for no more than 2.5 hours!), we have the infrastructure and the logistics to do it. Give us a chance, listen to the community, and choose Dublin as your European Worlds location for 2025
and it'd be funny if we got it before the UK did

Dublin is both lovely and sensible. These things rarely coexist. The craic = impeccable; the city is beaut; let’s goooooo |
The people yearn for it
