[Eclipse] A Headlock For The Wrong Meta

Why did I choose Reina there's so much assets support in the pool god

For eclipse, I wanted to play something different from normal. I have never taken Anarch to a tournament before so I thought I'd build headlock Reina, a common archetype from the early days of FFG Netrunner. The plan was simple: full credit denial by playing Account Siphon as much as humanly possible, with recursion through Déjà Vu, Katorga Breakout and Trope.

My blunder was that the only testing I'd done was against AceEmpress' Thunderbolt, a deck with a lot of ice. So I ended up putting in a fair amount of ice destruction to counter this, and Reina did a lot of work! I even got paired into that matchup during the tournament so I got the win I'd been preparing for.

Unfortunately the other two games were against Cobalt's IG (zero ice rezzed) and the horrible prison EtF (two ice rezzed, one via Bioroid Efficiency Research). Needless to say, I lost both of these.

Don't play this deck. CobraBubbles built a similar Valencia that was likely better in every way (unpublished as of yet, but findable on Aesop's Tables), so stick with that.

My Corp is much more interesting at least.
