That Tricky Mushin No Shin

Nutrunner 1

On a turn you are using mushin no shin always pump the card you are advancing up to four advancement counters. If you get one Cerebral Overwriter to fire you have them in a kill position as long as their hand size does not increase. If they do not run on your Cerebral Overwriter, you can use a trick of the light to fast advance out a 2 point agenda.

I just made this deck so I'm certain there are adjustments which can be made to make it better. I'm thinking potentially changing the Caprice Nisei to all Marcus Batty, or Marcus Batty to all Caprice Nisei. I'm not too worried about rumor mill because you can use your clone retirements to get rid of them, and most decks I believe aren't running much rumor mill. Originally I had one or two currents in this deck, but I decided to opt out on them for other cards I felt more necessary.

Right off the bat you might have trouble rezing all that 8-9 cost ice. What's the plan with the archived memories? I'm a little nervous about the medical research fundraisers. Aside from mushin no shin, your deck needs a lot of time to set up a score server, and giving the runner credits before you have that set up seems rough.

Enforced Curfew + 4 brain damage = 1 Neural EMP for the kill. I'd slot some, also turns off Rumor Mill and other annoying currents.

I agree that your ice is a bit expensive, Cortex Lock seems really good here. Conversely Komainu seems pretty bad since your end goal is to reduce their hand size. I think that Medical Research Fundraiser is really pretty good. You don't need a scoring server if you can bluff with Mushin No Shin or FA with Trick of Light, and you need money to fire your traps.

Cool deck! :D

I've been playing a similar deck that's less kill focused. I have a couple back channels for failed traps which also help you afford the pricey ice, though my ice in general isn't as expensive. Something I've enjoyed a lot is using Mind Game. It's expensive to break and pretty useful when you have a 4 advanced overwriter sitting around. Just my 2 cents.
