Beginner Runner Anarch

Mad Tinkerer 234

General

I wanted to show the game to a friend but I really don't like the Nisei Starter/Booster decks, so I made a easy to use deck for every main faction.

For these deck I wanted to stay close to the current standart pool (Standart Banlist 21.10) but if I knew of a easier to use card that's almost the same I took that (for example Personal Workshop instead of Paule's Café). Also I put only 2 copies of most cards into the decks to be able to use more different cards.

This Deck

This is by far the hardest runner deck to pilot (for a beginner) so I would wait with it for quite a while (and also it's a great tease if you talk about the runner being able to trash ice).

The strategy is simple, trash expensive ice so you can run cheap with your powerfull breakers. Keep in mind that you don't have any real recursion since I didn't want you to be able to trash too much.

Matchups (with my other Beginner decks)

I have to guess for all since we haven't played with this deck yet so I focus on the destruction potential.

HB -> Quite some strong ice and fast restoring. But I guess you got a clear edge.

Weyland -> Quite a few really strong Ice and even an Ice Wall can be though for you.

NBN -> Some really annoying Ice and you need to be carefull not to lose important cards.

Jinteki -> Most ice are exactly what you can beat easily but it's still Jinteki so you might need to install your stuff early to safe it.

Some notes to specific cards

Personal Workshop -> This card is only in this deck to make it easier to pilot for a beginner since I can see it's really hard to judge what makes sense to install when. So with this card you can simple host everything and install it when needed.

Same Old Thing -> I didn't want to give you much recursion so it's not totally unfair, but this felt just right to reuse something like Forked once more.
