Trimmed some more of the fat down from 2.0. Constructive feedback is appreciated. :)

All of your expensive ICEs are bioroids. Given that, Oversight AI should be replaced with Bioroid Efficiency Research. It's slightly more expensive, but the ICE is just unrezzed instead of trashed if broken through, which gives you a chance to rez it back. It would also free up some precious influence points. You don't have any 1-point agendas to feed Archer, so they'll probably end up being more trouble than they are worth. Data Raven, Neural Katana or Rototurret would probably be better as sentries. You might also consider Howler -- people forget that it can bring back bioroid ICE from the archives. Get an early Janus 1.0 or Wotan? Overdraw to chuck it in the trash, then it can spring into action when you need it, no Jackson required! Plus, it stays installed, so you can rez it once you have the credits for it. Speaking of which, I'm worried about your economy. The "level clearances" aren't super-efficient in that regard, and I suspect you'll often be stuck clicking for cash, especially if you get a Hedge Fund in your hand in the mid to late game. Assuming you remove the Oversight AIs as I suggested, I would use Sweeps Week instead, and replace the Blue Level Clearances with the durable Eve Campaigns. I'd also chuck out the Adonis Campaigns to trim your deck; they are too easy to trash. |

I actually had an incarnation of this deck that used a couple 1 point Agendas to feed Archer, but then I figured that I could rez it (without penalty) in other ways, so I tried streamlining the idea a bit, cutting corners. Data Ravens are attractive indeed, but I don't see myself really relying (at all) on tagging/bagging with this deck...rather just straightforward methods of plunking down ridiculous defenses and scoring those agendas. There's also fast advancing...Mushins, SanSans...but against the people I see, I'm still not convinced those tricks would work. Maybe I'm being paranoid, I dunno. I like the idea behind Howlers. What is your take on Minelayers? Also, will I absolutely positively need 3 Jacksons, or should 2 be enough? I worry about Econ a lot too...here, as well as in my runner deck idea I've posted (I bet you'd have a few words of wisdom for that one as well). Sweeps Week sounds good, as do Eve Campaigns. I was in the mindset that Adonis wasn't too costly to rez, it would kinda turn the runner's head towards it a bit...and it'd be spent in 4 turns, so if they didn't make an attempt to get at it SOON, I'd have used it up and gotten my money's worth out of it. I will certainly heed your advice and do as much tweaking as I can between now and tomorrow (when my cards should arrive at the house). |

Ok, so...I've done some of what both of you suggested, and taken the Weyland literally right out of play, heh. -3 Oversight AI...-2 Archers...+2 Tollbooths...+3 Sweeps Weeks -2 Adonis...-3 Blue Level...-3 Green Level...+3 Eve Campaigns...+3 Bioroid Efficiency Research These modifications leave me with 2 cards left, and I have some options here...some wiggle room. I can either add in Successful Demonstrations (or perhaps Mining Corps) for Econ...Director Haas for clicks...Overwriter to go with Janus...Archived Memories (since I'm really having a hard time with Howler and the whole derez thing...kinda costly, isn't it?)...Biotic Labor for the ABTs...or Tyr's Hand in a pinch to stop a runner in his tracks. Thoughts? |
Tollbooth would be better than archer imo, since archer is meant to be a trap ice. From what I can tell you want to oversight it, which doesn't do much without corp troubleshooter and cash. Otherwise, looks good.
