Jak Attack

Jak Sinclair, Security Testing and Doppelgänger is a really interesting economic engine in combination with some of the good foundational pieces (Kati, Gamble, Daily Casts) and the run-based economy at the heart of Criminal (Siphon and Bank Job.)

This deck performs well in the early and mid-game, leveraging a constant stream of cash into a surprising flurry of multi-access hits. Jak Sinclair and Security Testing give you 2 and a Datasucker token for as long as the Corp leaves archives open. Once the centrals have been all closed up, any unprotected remote gives you those 2 and a clickless trigger for Doppelgänger, meaning you can get the benefit of Jak Sinclair without the prevention of icebreaker use.

This deck has trouble in the late-game after all of your multi-access has been expended and the Corp's centrals are substantially ICE'd. To that end, I've added an R&D Interface to try and improve your chances - originally this was a Quest Completed since you'll be making a lot of clickless runs but in practice I never needed to use it. I think a Vamp could work well as an alternative in this spot as keeping the Corp below "Too Rich To Care" levels of money makes breakerless runs a bit less scary.

Caprice Nisei is a hugely notable problem for this deck as a Caprice over HQ/a scoring remote can turn off so many of your Siphony, Siphony tricks. I've added a single Sneakdoor Beta as a means of getting into HQ to trash Caprice as a last resort (Popular underdogs Gun and Other Gun don't really fill this bullet slot as the S&W requires an HQ run and Drive By is easily sidestepped by pre-emptively rezzing Caprice.) If you find yourselves with an opportunity and some pocket change, I'm sure Sneakdoor could be useful early on to force the Corp even further into guarding Archives.

In general, the only excessively challenging match-up is in Replicating Perfection. You have a few distinct advantages here - Jak Sinclair run on a central server can turn off RP so that you can run those Sundews on click 1, denying this deck a huge part of their econ package. Pup, Ichi 1.0 and Eli 1.0 can all still be moved through with impunity during a Jak Sinclair run so a lot of the early Central Server protection is vulnerable. That being said, Markus Batty, Caprice and Ash can really mess you up if you let them get installed, so getting a Code Gate breaker along with your Faerie is critical to avoid Cricking.

I would love to make room for 1x Inside Job, 1x HQ Interface and a second Plascrete, but Criminal draw is so poor that I'm having trouble trimming any excess fat. You may be able to get away with a single Kati but it really hurts if they manage to trash her so I'd avoid cutting it down. It might be possible to cut down to 1x Doppelgänger since this console is really more useful in the middle of the game rather than at the start.

Really close to a deck I've been using. I went to Medium as R&D pressure and add 2 Drive By because Caprice is a pain. But the deck is pretty close to this one and its awesome

@Diegofsv Medium is good. I like running nothing but a Sucker in this deck just to make the Corp reaaaaaally resistant to purging virus counters.

@psi_lifeup Thats what i do too, the clickless runs pump them up so fast.

Do you think John Masanori could work here? The draw might be enough to rely less on Earthrise Hotel.

@GrantZilla1979, I used Masanori early on and he's a huge double-edged sword. When he's good, he's great, but Jak Sinclair sometimes required bold-faced facechecking and Masanori turns that into an expensive liability. I may try him again now that I'm getting a better handle on how to use this deck.

What about putting in Emergency Shutdown to keep the early/mid game pressure up?

Also, not to rain on Drive-By's parade more, but it can only target cards in remotes, rather than the pesky Central Caprice's. Roll on Political Operative and Councilman!
