"Don't worry about what Gordon tells you," the red signet hummed in the peripheral of Yale's vision before disappearing as fast as it arrived.
"Sir, there's an intrusion in the lower levels," a new voice chimed in as Gordon's signet appeared.
"Batty sees it," Yale replied as he watched the glyphs reconfigure themselves on his screen. The incursion heading deeper into their servers until... it split in two, slammed into two dark green glpyhs and disintegrated. "Sometimes that man scares me."
I was looking for an answer to all the #Faust love going around our meta, while simultaneously trying to find a way to #MakeWeylandGreatAgain. This solution was more enjoyable than I expected.
The recipe is simple; make tons of money and use and recur Batty until their rig is a smoldering wreck.
Don't hesitate to; * Bait a run with an agenda if it has a good chance of killing their rig and opening up a score of an agenda you really care about. * Bluff an asset for a Project Atlas in your scoring server. Install the actual Project Atlas and interns a Marcus Batty on it next turn. * Slow roll a Hostile Takeover just because you can.
And yes, there is no Jackson Howard in this deck. He's not needed. You don't really want the draw to accelerate things - you're grinding down their rig after all. Noise is a bit of a problem, but Team Sponsorship helps with that. If you suspect keyhole drop Marcus Batty on RnD.
Grim always goes outside an ETR on the off chance that you can kill a couple of programs before kicking them out. Don't fret the bad pub, they won't have any programs to use it on when you're done.
Also, you're Weyland. Take the kill if it opens up.
Honestly, the one thing I would change is to find another way to fit in another Marcus Batty. Crisium Grid and Mark Yale are fairly edge cases and are your easy flex slots.
Good luck, and always bid 2.
