The Bends - 2nd Place Store Champs 2015 - Lawrence, KS

I've been playing some version of this list for a long time now. Figured I should probably publish it. This deck went 6-2 at the Hometown Games Store Championship in Lawrence, KS. Lost 1 game in swiss, went into the top 8 as bottom seed, went undefeated in double elimination until the final.

This archetype has been around for a while so I will just touch on some specific design choices I made.

The Agendas: Three Breaking News helps to land Scorched Earth against defensive runners or trash key resources. Character Assassination for trashing Noise's Aesop or other resources. Restructured Datapool is a bit of a wild card. It's usually easy to keep it away from the runner with Jackson, and it is nearly impossible for the runner to recover if you manage to score it.

The Influence: Three Scorched Earth to capitalize on flatline opportunities as soon as possible. Three Green Level Clearance because it's everything the deck wants.

The Fork: Generally speaking, runners have gotten better at playing around Midseason Replacements. It is still incredibly powerful, but I've found that relying on a successful Midseason for every game is unrealistic. Instead I play aggressively, holding that threat over the runner's head while focusing on scoring an early AstroScript behind light ETR ice.

Notes: I'm consider switching one Scorch for a Traffic Accident to recover three influence, probably for Eli 1.0 or Crisium Grid.
