After hearing so much critical acclaim on the previous version of this deck, I realised I've dug up gold. I went through the deck trying to find weak spots and holes and now I think the deck has been honed to perfection. I present you - Liiga Tribal 2.0. Here are some card choices and strategy guides:
The deck runs the classic econ suite (3x Hedge, 3x Sweeps) alongside 3x Product placement and 2x Melange. Product placement is there for those pesky Noises and other runners like Exiles who run too much. Also, it's very great against Nasir. Melange, however, fits so well into the Caprice theme, you can protect it with Komainu and Product placement. Also, I've rarely found it being trashed in R&D or HQ, so it's a very safe Econ choice.
The ice are all very worth it. Uroboros synergises so great with Caprice, it's even hard to comprehend. Data Ravens and Gutenbergs are there obviously for the Private Security Force triggers and Pups+Komainu make for an impenetrable server.
So, let me get this out there - a good deck needs to be versatile. The best decks in this meta use either FA, Meat damage or Caprice Nisei. This deck uses them ALL!
You can Astro train your way to victory. Also, Quantum Predictive Models and 15 minutes are so easy to score!
See them dipping below 3 cards even though you have private Security Force scored? Kill them off. Also, having both Restructured Datapool and Private Security Force scored makes for such a great tax. Imagine a card with an ability: click: The runner loses 2 credits. That's such a great value, isn't it?
Caprice Nisei is such a great card! It obviously should go into every deck ever made. And the must trash assets along with the Datapool+Security Force combo mean that the runner won't have the necessary credits to trash your valuable NAPD Detective. I came to this conclusion after seeing the great list of Perfecting the Hub and reading various VERY helpful comments. If you put a Popup window on your Caprice server, you're basically also a better Nisei Division. Image a card that costs 4 influence and reads: you're also another ID. OP!
All in all, this deck is awesome. It's got so many silver bullets for every archetype out there, you might melt it down and shoot a werewolf with it. I tested this deck and oh my God is it beautiful.

A lot of people don't understand what an artist really brings to a deck. First, they bring a lot of dogs. They may not want to draw dogs, but when asked to, they can bring a lot of dogs. And dogs as you know, control the internet. Not cats. Dogs. And so when you put internet controlling dogs into a deck, its very threatening. You know, I think its very threatening to have dogs in a deck that an artist brought along with them. Personally, I love dogs. And I love artists and they love me. So, I think just putting... just putting as many dogs and artists in a deck is good. But if you can just pick one artist your deck gets a whole log better. And an artist that can bring dogs is just gold. Help make netrunner great again people. Play Liiga tribal. I play it. I lose to it. You should too. |

I have a Hayley / Data Folding deck that runs the three Cerberus breakers in London Library that seems to do okay against this one. ZU.13 Key Master is great too because it's a dog in the cloud and Battering Ram has good synergy too although it is not strictly a dog. |

All I can say is wow. Just when you thought NEH couldn't be improved any further, there's now Liiga Tribal. The sheer power of a single Komainu in this deck is incredible, and I look forward to seeing this outperform everything else at Worlds. On a side note, I just played against this on jinteki.net and lost on the first turn. Can you guys guess what happened? |
Should be noted - this deck performs significantly worse when played without the Alt-art Pop-up windows.
