My brother and I have been playing Netrunner together since 2012 when the game was just a baby. Since then we've both stayed active in our own small meta of 2. We went to Magnum Opus in 2018 together despite being huge introverts. We just had a Superbowl-style party to watch the World's stream with wings and all. It's been amazing to bond with him over this for the past 10 years.

But now it's time to kill him.

He doesn't look at NetrunnerDB, but still manages to land on some pretty strong lists. With him not looking here, I figured I'd crowdsorse his demise since I can be a dodgy deckbuilder at times. If you have any ideas to help this deck please comment and help me out.

The idea of the deck is to stress my brother's resources with damage cards that also land tags (Snare! and Prisec). Hopefully he goes tag me and then I can land an Orbital Superiority for a super splashy kill. Then I get all the Inheritance.

Potential weak points in the deck: The 1x Obokata Protocol and the 2x Regenesis seem to not really fit what the rest of the deck would like to be doing. Prana Condenser. I can see it being good so I tossed it in. 3rd Rashida is likely better.

Possible Includes: I was considering Divert Power with the Pings and Anemone.

Ok, there are several PE lists in NetrunnerDB that are quite nasty in what you want to achive. There is one with just 6 ice and mine with 6.

My sugestion is to take out some of the tithes and add some Hansei Reviews to sneak out some stuff. Right now your only tag punishment is the final orbital superiority (5 net damage is a lot).

My sugestions

-2 Tithe. There is too much ice and I think that you need some more econ - 2 or 3 Stoy Buy Back. I'm planning something different for the influence

  • 1-2 Seamless Launch. It gives you money. It gives you clicks for doing nasty stuff with your combo

  • 1-2 Hansei Review. You need that money. +1- 2 Urtica Cipher. Your brother should be worried of running remotes.

  • 1-2 News Team. Take -1 agenda or 2 tags. Both things are something that your deck wants. Works in archives also.

Also maybe -1 prisec +1 mavirus if he uses viruses.

@valerian32Thanks so much! I like the idea of the News Teams. Probably will take out a ping for one.

I'm pretty ok with my only tag punishment being orbital Superiority, because the 5 meat plus 1 net (from PE), should be enough to kill (especially since the tags help me get rid of Stoneship Chartrooms).

I'm thinking of also dropping the 2nd ping potentially and running an IP block and a Global Food Initiative (in Obokata Protocol's slot). Then I'll take out the Longevity Serum and the Regenesis for 2 Show of Force. Adding in a Neurospike then might give me a second kill combo (but might also just be trying to do too much). The Nerospike will probably replace the Prana Condenser.

Really appreciate the feedback. Any help is always appreciated. Now I just gotta find what to cut for seamless launch...

The problem is that Superiority is 4 meat damage, so I think that you need that Neurospike (4 meat, 1 PE, 2 Neurospike) to make the combo work

Oh no! I'm an idiot! I was just operating under the assumption that it was 5! Oof. Thanks for pointing that out. Would have realized when I sleeved up. Maybe I just pivot hard into show of force then... gotta do some soul searching.
