Quest Compleated

This is a work in progress, haven't played it yet. Looking for feedback before I take it for a spin.

Sil's got her eye on the prize, she's got no time for random accesses! Early Bird and Doppelganger allow you to make your first two central runs for essentially zero clicks, leaving you a full turn to make your third run then play any combination of Notoriety, Quest, or even a Same Old Thing out of hand. The rest of the deck is dedicated to getting your Eater out quickly, making multi-runs viable, and giving you a few alternate angles of attack.

Strategy is simple: Find Eater and Quest ASAP. If the Corp drops something in an iced-up remote, hit HQ right away to expose it. If it's an agenda, hit the other centrals and Quest Complete it. If not, you have the option of hitting them for Notoriety or holding back and clicking Kati or Armitage to prepare for the next run. Horizontal decks will likely be harder to deal with. Against PE you might get unlucky with your exposures and end up having to run remotes looking for agendas, which means potential traps. Draw up Accordingly. John Masanori might help in this case. A well-timed Femme/Inside Job can give you an alternate way into two-ice scoring servers. Lastly, SanSan City Grid should always be on the list of potential Quest targets to prevent the Corp scoring out of hand.

Hades Shard could easily be another Notoriety, but I threw it in there in case the Corp gets smug and starts tossing agendas into Archives.

Special Order might be switched out for Express Delivery for versatility in case your Quests decide to hide from you.

Account Siphon might actually be counter-intuitive here. You want the Corp to think they can score agendas, so keeping them poor might not be the best idea. Bank Job is a potential replacement.

Pros: Potentially nullifies trap assets, minus Psychic Fields and any Shocks or Shi.Kyus in Archives if you fire Hades.

Cons: Cerebral Imaging. AstroBiotics. Swordsman.

I think Emergency Shutdown will be absolutely necessary if you hope to get into HQ and R&D consistently in a single turn.

Kati and Armitage Codebusting is quite click intensive - you might want to swap the Armitage Codebusting for Daily Casts.

I do not understand why you would want to have Hades Shard in this deck; Utopia Shard would be a better fit - you could make a run on HQ, install Utopia and have a decent chance of grabbing an agenda that was in HQ when you go and visit Archives. Besides, Utopia Shard is a soft protection against kill decks - you could remove a copy of Plascrete and go for a mix of 1xUtopia 1xPlascrete.

Lastly, I don't think you need the 3x consoles in a 40-cards deck. Besides, Early Bird already gives you some breathing room if you can't find your console. I would drop to two of both to make room for emergency shutdowns.

@Bananifier Thanks for the feedback!

I like the Emergency Shutdown idea, I'll try it. It's kind of in the same category as Account Siphon though, in that it's a corp tax. This deck wants the Corp to be overconfident, believing they can drop agendas with minimal protection because our breaker disallows accesses.

This is the logic behind Hades Shard as well. If the Corp player realizes you're targeting remotes indirectly and believes they can keep you from accessing Archives with a Quandary, they might do just that and toss a few 3-pointers in there. Utopia Shard might get rid of a damage card, but unless the corp is running more damage than agendas, it's actually more likely to trash an agenda or two. I do like the Utopia/Plascrete idea though, leaves an extra card for Emergency Shutdown. I'll give it a shot.
