As a new player, I was most excited for anarchs as a concept, simply because I love viruses. I ran into a lot of trouble in previous decks, since any time I had a really beefed up kit with Aumakua or something similar, a well-timed purge and I was back at square one.
This deck was inspired when playing my husband's Weyland deck, since he plays a pretty heavy glacier style with ridiculous walls that would bleed my account dry or bar entry entirely. Cutlery came to my rescue and I added the strongest breakers I knew (Paperclip and Black Orchestra), instead of solely relying on Eater to do the work for me. I added a few more breakers in there to give me some flexibility, depending on the board and my draw. Lastly, Datasucker helps save my credits by weakening stupidly strong ice.
Originally, I had added Trypano as a way to destroy ice, but my husband was never willing to lose his Archer or Orion, so he always purged at four counters. I added two Acacia to flood my accounts every four turns, which made my destruction runs all the better. This combination was a complete happy accident, as it tends to be a hard decision for him to purge (though it really depends on which ice you install Trypano on, so choose wisely and be patient).
Lastly, to make things go my way, I included Self-modifying Code to pull Trypano and/or Acacia quickly to help with the credit pool early game.
Overall, this is the first deck I've ever built and I am constantly modifying it. It's been the most fun runner deck I've used so far!

There are some nice ideas but a lot of your breakers will end up as dead cards as you only have 4 memory. Trimming them down will free up a lot of space for nasty anarch events (Mining Accident, Run Amok, Singularity etc etc). You also have a spare influence even now so a rebirth into Omar/Ed or Quetzal might be good (since Val's ID is useless once the game has started). |
Nice deck!
Are the pair of Corroders a mistake? Seems like you've already included the best fracter in the game Paperclip + Corroder is no longer legal (for competitive play). Maybe they were supposed to be Eaters?
