Still Hitting Yourself? 1st @ Belgian Nats, 7th @ UK Nats

Major thanks for this list go to London who came up with the idea and even suggested the tweaks that I eventually ended up making.

The tweaks were :

I really wanted to include a Market Forces for the uncomfortable situations where the Runner is building up credits, not clearing tags and you have nothing to jam. This meant the deck is generally poorer so a Mestnichestvo got cut for a cheaper gearcheck, with the ol' faithful Enigma. However, I'm not too happy with this change because of how cheap it is for Euler, as it does little to create [Public Trail] windows. On the topic of those windows, I love Econ Warfare in this deck, it makes playing around the Public Trail more difficult and is an extra tool when the game still hangs in the balance when the Runner and you are scrambling for resources.

Over the two Nats I took this deck to, it went 8-3 and a gameloss (still hitting myself about picking up the wrong ICE after taking back an install on R&D, plan your turn kids). It lost to Salwen's Akiko, Grtl's Kit and testrunning's Esa. On the flipside, it beat DD Sable, Zombie Freedom, an Aniccam Lat, two Kit, and Swift Lat thrice.

I believe this deck is no worse than any of the other lists you can choose at the moment to lose to Lat with, so take it for a spin and make people on jnet casual miserable!

Thank you to everyone invloved in organising these events, you did a wonderful job and we're blessed to have people so driven to creating such an amazing atmosphere for everyone in the community!

Awesome performances! Thanks for believing in this janky-looking agenda.

Great job repping the deck in Europe, glad to see it crushing over there as well. BCP is such an anti-meta card right now and scoring it+immediately handing it to your opponent to read and watching their crestfallen reaction is a real thrill.

Did Market Forces win any games that SGP+Starlit wouldn't have won? London and I have gone back and forth on the card a decent bit and I think we concluded that the prevalence of Ari was likely to be the deciding factor. Also, did advancing mestni come up at all? I found that it's really valuable during open deck lists when they're no longer playing around kill, but largely not necessary unless they know what they're playing against. Love the Econ Warfare :)

Sadly the surprise effect wore off eventually but those looks of horror on players' faces are definitely something I cherish.

If you bounce the Lat breakers, like Revolver, Market Forces gives you extra turns which can be very valuable (since the extra install doesn't do too much because all they're spending is bullets). Also, I found that I don't always manage to position my ICE ideally for the late game if the runner is pressuring me so Market Forces also acts as a failsafe.

Preadvancing Mestni came up once again a very savvy Kit player who saw what was going on and was key to just tax out the necessary credits

Again, love this deck and so happy I caught the stream where you beat Whiteblade with it during CoS while I was deciding what to bring to my local CO :)
