Orion the Space Pacifist

StarlightCrusade 104

This deck is designed to force the runner to play at a very slow pace. With very low agenda density, lots of advanceable space ice, and plenty of recursion for renewable economy, their runs will feel pretty futile. Put a museum of history behind a strong glacier, or even better, three museums on a Worlds Plaza behind the same glacier, and get rich while the runner searches through a deck full of nothing in R&D, trashes cards that you just recur turns later, and the Government Takeover sits safely quarantined from earthbound runners in that Glenn Station that you double-advanced with your Trick of Light. He's phlegmatic. He's mysterious. He's deadly without even firing a shot. He's Orion the Space Pacifist.

I'd love to see some Adonis or even Trick of Light changed into Snare or Shock to recycle back to R&D with Museum to make R&D extra painful to search.

What are using for Archer fodder? Firmware? Have you thought about giving Lizzy Mills some time in the spotlight, as in Public Support? It could sit on your Museum server instead of an Adonis to give an extra Archer threat.

When you play Government Takeover, you could always add Punitive Counterstrike.

After you've redecued the agenda density of your deck to close to zero, how do you win?

Thanks for the input! Adonis probably needs to leave, at least one or two of the copies. The two Tricks, on the other hand, should probably stay. I love being able to fast-advance a Glenn Station! Firmware is great for Archer (after you spend the counters, hopefully), as is priority requisition. Some Shocks in R&D could be fun too...but then I'd have to take out the "Pacifist" in Orion's name.

As for how you win...you outlast the runner. Hopefully.

I feel like it'd be worth dropping those 3 pointers for Global Food Initiative. That'd slow the game down more than anything else. I'm actually not convinced you're better off in Titan. The best bit of that is 2 inf, but you aren't exactly using it running a glorified Pad Campaign in Mental Health Clinic. So maybe you could go into Gagarin Deep Space: Expanding the Horizon or even - brace yourselves - Weyland Consortium: Because We Built It.

What do you think of removing all of the Adonis Campaigns and the Mental Health Clinic to put in 1X Biotic Labor, 1X Fast Track and 2X Shannon Claire? Gives a lot more agenda flexibility, at the cost of some cards that weren't a whole lot of use in the deck anyway.
