Chimera pits Nova, and Ampere against each other with random and algorithmically generated eternal decklists!
Chimera is chaotic, endlessly replayable, and outrageously fun! It debuted in-person at North American Continentals, and is now publicly available to play online!! ππ
To boost the visibility of this formatβs release weβd greatly appreciate a like/fav on this example list! πππ
- Try out a game and tell us your highlights/thoughts in the comments! :)
Come join us at the first ever Chimera tournament, hosted online on Sunday Oct 1st @10:30am PDT, which will be some outrageous fun, and includes some sweet prizes:

I personally think Chimera is great for new-ish, and old players alike. Its meant to be casual chaotic fun where you don't have to worry about deckbuilding, and I think the learning curve is in alignment with having the general concepts of netrunner down, more than cardpool knowledge: So far from our testing we've gotten a lot of positive feedback from both newer and older players to the game. |

Playing Chimera has been some of the most fun I have ever had playing netrunner! When we played our first few completely randomly generated decks 4 months ago and you managed to trash my turn one Magnum Opus with Keegan Lane I knew we had struck gold! |

Very happy to see some algorithmic format love. A while ago I developed a similar concept for generating Standard legal decks that a friend and I would mess around with on Jnet. You can find the Python script for that here. I haven't tried using the script for a few rotations/banlists, so I'm not sure if it still properly generates legal decks. Regardless, very excited to try out an Eternal-sized version with Chimera :) |

Those early games with boat being on the Econ list at first was a little too oppressive haha. Glad things have balanced out a lot more since! Look forward to continuing this with ya! π |
As a new player who has barely grasped the standard cardpool, what should I expect the learning curve for Chimera to be like?
