Argusmodernism

Argus Security may be the best supermodernism identity available. Using it, you have a flatline threat before you even take a click.

Like all supermodernism decks, your game is all about tempo and Argus lets you enforce it. You don't really care if the runner takes the tag or the meat damage from stealing an agenda because either way costs them extra clicks to recover. Either way you win.

Strategy

Go fast.

The ideal starting hand contains ICE, an agenda and economy. Oaktown Renovation is perfect for this since you don't lose any tempo by advancing it.

You should start by ICEing up R&D or HQ (depending on which runner you're facing) and immediately start building a remote server. Again, this is forcing the runner to keep up with you. Even if they have the right ICEbreaker or a trick to access your agenda without it, chances are good that they'll be left poor and injured or tagged. In which case you just add a layer of ICE and stick another agenda in there. The runner simply can't keep pace.

Don't be afraid to rez Grim, even if there's a killer installed. It's fairly expensive to break and the bad publicity doesn't matter if the runner has no rig left. Archer is a little trickier, but that's what Hostile Takeover and Public Support is for.

Card Choices

Contract Killer is mostly here to shoot Kati Jones out of the sky. Film Critic isn't a major concern since Argus is here to control the tempo of the game. Film Critic may actually slow the runner down more than Argus!

Power Shutdown can pretty easily trash a Corroder but you might get lucky and trash a Plascrete Carapace. This can be swapped out for a Shattered Remains or Taurus if you find yourself facing a lot of Plascrete Carapace.

Public Support is here to stretch the runner's resources. If they don't waste time and money to trash it, it's points for you. Obviously this is best used before you've taken a couple bad publicity. These slots could be used for an extra Hostile Takeover and another card of your choice.

Casting Call practically guarantees you'll score the agenda you use it with in this deck. With a Data Raven protecting your scoring server, the runner is looking at 3 tags and 2 meat damage or 4 tags to steal the agenda. If they actually clear the tags, you have an outrageous tempo gain. If they don't, well, Scorched Earth.

Casting Call is definitely a flex slot though. If you prefer SEA Source, this is the card to cut to make that swap.

Challenges

The biggest difficulty this deck has is against a tagme deck running multiple Plascrete Carapaces. It's not super common anymore but it's worth noting.

Against this archetype, you'll need to try to bait out tricks (by installing Snare!, Contract Killer or Public Support in your scoring server) or trashing ICEbreakers with Power Shutdown, Archer or Grim. It's a tough matchup and if you see a lot of it in your meta, you'd be well served by swapping in some cards to trash hardware.

@SlayerCNV I took first and second in the two GNK tournaments I've played it in. I've been using it in league and casual play for a while now, too.
