Welcome to HB Fast Advance with a kill condition to boot. You have your standard, cheap ETR ice such as Wraparound, Chimera, Dracō, Rototurret and Viktor 1.0 but we also have some special additions just for the occasion
Gyri Labyrinth ends up being a hilarious card when coupled with an unrezzed and unknown Chairman Hiro. Especially more so when you have a scored Self-Destruct Chips. If the runner can't deal with Gyri, they end up having the rest of their turn to somehow score out or trash the Hiro before losing the game. Add an Oaktown Grid just to make their life even more difficult and there you have it, instant frustration.
Of course, Imps, Beach Parties, and other such runner cards can make quick work of that kill condition, but while the runner is focused on not dying, you can leisurely do the whole fast advance thing with Biotic Labor, Director Haas and Project Vitruvius.
I'm still debating what to remove in order to play Jackson Howard, at which point I would sub the Tsurugi for another Rototurret. The biggest reason I don't have it in the list is because I don't physically own the card yet. Womp womp.

Agreed. Hiro is too influence-expensive and dangerous to have 2 copies. I would suggest either boot camp or tech startup. |

With your advice, -1 Hiro, -2 Adonis, -1 Pad, -1 Hedge Fund for +2 Melange Mining Corp. and +3 Tech Startup. Also replaced sentries with 2 Architect and 2 Uroboros. Still need to find space for Jackson, which may end up being the Architects. Could probably use my influence better too. |
I have a similiar deck. But use only one Hiro with 2x Boot Camp, which gives more leeway regarding money, finding Hiro faster and enough influence for two Jacksons.
