Drop Dead Cynical!

Kong 1

Test Deck for Jinteki design I came up with. It's called Drop Dead Cynical (yes after the song) because the idea behind it is to make players do the regular moves against Jinteki while you play a completely different game....you make them HAVE to gamble, make them HAVE to take chances they don't want to take, etc. The idea is them having absolutely no trust in you, even though you're giving them the ability to trust you because you're not playing it like a classic Jinteki deck....

Basically you'd lay your walls down, and wait till you can lay down 1 agenda and 2 traps....then slowly advance cards but force them to have to guess which is being advanced (usually it's the traps and NOT the agenda!) The reason for this is because so many have told me that "hey...if you're advancing i'm going after it" or "if you don't advance it but so much i'll ignore it cause you're Jinteki"....so playing the deck is supposed to be based off that ideal and twist it around...cynical no?

I need whatever help I can get though with the deck design! I'm still learning and would love to get any advice I can!

I like your idea. It has similar parallels to the PSIKE! deck by Kevoun.

I would suggest you remove bullfrog. I know it's a PSI card, but really you have very little use for it. Once a runner hits the frog, loses the game, and gets moved to whatever server you want him to go to, he'll 9/10 times just jack out... and now you have a bullfrog sitting in an awkward place. Bullfrog needs either whirlpool or labyrinthine servers to support him, and you have neither.

Also I would consider Jackson instead of daily business show. Jackson is a great way to safely store agendas in archives and also recycle snares/mushin no shin back into the deck for more shenanigans.

If you have any questions about what I said please let me know. Good job so far though! :)
