The New Flatline 1.0

tacullu 67

Toying around with some new Corp cards, trying to find a fresh way to flatline. Got a few points I've come up with, since I haven't playtested this yet:

Mushin no Shin is classy as heck. Work compression, economy and mind-game, all in one card. Props for Mushin-ing a GRNDL Refinery and getting away with it.

Chairman Hiro sits perfectly in Jinteki : PE. Always rez him after the runner's last click.

Pack Clone Retirements for Archers and Fenrises. They're your get-out-of-jail cards and more.

Also, Fenris is a thing of beauty. RAWR!

I'll be replacing Pri-Req with The Future Perfect, IF it's worth it and once it's actually spoiled.

Thoughts, people? :)

Find a way to get in Hedge Funds, otherwise you might as well lose the Snares, because you'll never have enough money to trigger them.

Personally, I'd replace Bastion with Snowflake - it works perfectly for when you want the runner to get in without being too obvious about it :D Also, the rez cost difference is staggering, while the actual effect on the runner (i.e. pay and break) is nearly identical.

I found Data Mines to not really be worth it without Jacksons to recur them, which also makes both Snares and Shocks so much more potent. I'd probably ditch the Archers and try to get in some Jacksons, though that would require more extensive changes, at least to your ICE package.

The things I'm missing here damage-wise are Katanas and Hokusais. Without them I fear you'll die horribly to RnD diggin' - it only takes 3 agendas to lose, with your setup. )

Snowflake for Bastion, maybe. Jackson, I thought so too, and could drop the Overwriter (there's Fenris anyway), an Archer, and a Ronin, maybe.

As for the Hedge Funds, I can't seem to think of anything to drop.

I didn't put in any Hokusais, because of the horizontal tendency of the deck, and Mushin no Shin.

Katanas are great for giving the Runner cold feet, but I didn't want too many Sentries in the deck. But maybe I could drop the Tsurugi, and a Junebug for two.
