Bridgeman 2847

The tempo tag and bag Azmari I played on todays stream!

It is an iteration on this list.

Seems to flow better now, but can be a bit swingy and is soft to mulch atm. More iterations to come :D

Looking forward to checking out the stream.

If it's soft to Mulch, all of its ice is <=2 str so it can be easily Crew'd. Consideration for Mestnichestvo and/or Wraparound?

And has Better Citizen Program been considered in the agenda package? (Maybe it's too slow compared to Cryptocrash.)

My friend told me about UK casinos, and I decided to find a good one. That’s how I found Betfred Casino. The site is simple, loads fast, and has many games. What I liked the most were the bonuses, especially for new players. Since it’s a UK-based site, everything works smoothly. Personally, I enjoyed the experience, and I’ll use it again.

@HexNet In general I am less worried about the crew matchup, but to be fair I havent tested it yet.

Anyway the theory is something like this:

  1. Crewing any of our ice will require getting leech down or taking a tag(or investing a devil charm which is another click card and credit), and ofc in general we are kind of happy for the runner to take tags. If leech needs to hit the table first that means we have more time to do things before the runner contests.

  2. Even with leech the exchange is a net loss for the runner, exept with tsarevna. Getting the tsarevna trashed is probably annoying though.

  3. Trashing our cards opens oppo windows
  4. Crew decks cannot ignore amaze amusements like mulch, so ice is not the only tax
  5. Crew decks typically play aumakua, which our ice is well suited for. Tsarevna is a nice face check and then at least 3 bucks to break, ping kind of pays for itself but taxes a credit, vsa will always give a tag.
  6. In general crew decks probably dont want to go really aggressive right away, which gives us more time to abuse holo man with our agendas. Mulch has an easier time stopping scores.

About the ice suggestions. I just kind of hate wraparound haha :D It seems like a card you play only if teching for a very particular matchup and will be very bad vs any regular runner, even vs mulch it just takes a botulus to get past it. If I test this vs crew decks and find I need it to win vs that I would just play another deck :D

Im a bigger fan of mestnichestvo as a card, but it goes against the logic I laid out for the ice suite in the original stream. It just is easier to cheat past with the tools in the format like botulus, boomerang, audrey, bankhar, entangler. Admittedly a good tax vs buzzsaw though(unless they get turbine rig/leech). The facecheck threat of it is nice, and it might be nice to have another etr,so I would give it a maybe :)

I havent really considered Better citizen program, but I was curious about whether I can tinker with the agenda suite. I worry it is too inconsistent in its effectiveness, both related to when you draw it in a game, but also depending on what deck you are playing against. I think it would be interesting to try though.

@HexNet That was me btw xD

The list is interesting, investing so much in the kill plan could definitely pay out against unprepared runners. Playing against it I have some consideration Isn’t Planogram almost always better then hedge fund? Mostly due to the fact that if the runner has a tag we can find the missing mindscaping/eotl, but also to boost ydl if needed. 9 porous ices are not really good playing 9 2 pointers. If the runner goes up to 4 is almost impossible to win (unless missplay on their side).

@Silent Arbiter On the planogram comment, I think often it will end up being used for cash and will then just be 1 credit less than Hedge, I'm not sure you often have the opportunity to save it for a better moment, especially since the deck has other cards that need to stay in hand and clog it. However I can see how it would be nice in the cases you describe, so I'll just leave it at a maybe :D

I think I sort of agree with the 4 points thing given that the runner didnt give up a lot to get the agendas. Basically you cannot afford to be giving away agendas cheaply. The idea is to jam pretty agressively in a way where there isnt much time for setup on the runner side if they want to contest. We want every steal to be painful for the runner.

We should also keep in mind that the deck can bluff a score attempt if it wants to.

It is a bit annoying though that sometimes we simply lack the kill to punish aggression, I believe that is the nature of this kind of deck, but could perhaps be mitigated by going two eotl, three mindscaping.

I think the 9 porous ice thing is a little misleading, the runner can get past one ice and then get two tags from amuse and two from oppo. It has seemed a decent tax so far. Definitely should be tested more rigorously, though, I'm not sure it totally works either :D

@Bridgeman thanks for the detailed breakdown on the card choices. I conflated Mulch and Crew Hoshiko as being the same but I see the major difference in breakers now. Cheers
