10 Minutes "Argus"

Day 2 of B-Com and I have no plans. There's an interesting 'two players, one collection' tournament being arranged but I don't have a partner. Luckily for me lostgeek had lost their partner to the top cut so I could step in. The down side was that the only Weyland cards I had with me were a core set, no influence, teaching deck. So I had 10 minutes to scrape together something legal and playable from that, my Mti deck from the day before, and whatever else I had in my deck box.

With such 'humble' beginnings I was expecting nothing, but had an absolute blast with this collection of nonsense. Game 1 I managed to tax out Smoke (Smoke!) by dragging Lukas through Hadrian's Wall over and over again. Game 2 I rushed out Priority Requisition to rez an Archer for free, and basically shut down R&D for the entire game. Who knew core Weyland was so good?

In the last game I got a little cocky and tried to rush out past Geist, but my opponent had enough tricks to stop that and it was soon over. But 10/10 for the tournament, would definitely like to play in it again.
