Valley of the Shadow of Death v4

Akitaro...

...you magnificent fellow. You make rezzing that Valley grid remote so so cheap. Chimeras over and over again.

When you stack that Chimera + Enigma + Chimera + Chimera scoring remote with Caprice+Valley G+Akitaro...you'll be on your way to some scoring good times at an amazing discount price.

How you'll win. Caprice+Watanabe+Valley

Slow 'em down on the centrals. Get the Chimera Watanabe Grid set up. Use EoW/Snare to protect your upgrades until it's time to score. Fearing the negative handsize death, most runners will not try to score your agendas out of the remote so you'll want to flip for a Nisei MK score earlier. You'll probably end up using the token to stop a Siphon/Legwork/Maker's Eye run, rather than to score. The Capricitaro Grid server can hold its own. Remember this. Also, Lady hates 3x Chimera on a server with 1x Himitsu...so if you're against Corroder-less Shaper...all the himitsus/chimeras go on your Valley Capricitaro server.

How you'll lose. Central pressure with Parasite spam.

Get Errand Boys, Crisiums and Elis online before you try anything crazy in a remote (especially against that jerk Leela). Keep Snare! in hand for Leggywork. Bluff extra Valley Grids as Crisiums when necessary. Be glad that they're wasting parasites on Errand Boy instead of on Chimeras. You're dependent on operation econ, but your stuff is cheap...so don't feel like you need tons of money to stay afloat (Errand Boy usually gets you money too).

I'd consider swapping out a VG for another Akitaro actually...that's how good that fool is in that remote.

The deck's a lot of fun to pilot and you can opt for The Brewery when your opponents are familiar with your deck just for a surprise kill here and there. Leading up to regionals this deck got tweated and tested a lot. There's something here I believe. Something good.

Enjoy.

Kudos to @AKAnderson for telling me to put in Akitaro.

Akitaro knew. He knew.

3x Chimera would be amazing protecting a remote, but I'm not thinking I'd have much luck getting them out in an efficient manner of time before the runner set up and was able to score out of my centrals.

You don't need all 3, any 3-4 etr ice on the remote will do. The central defenses are as resilient as those of most decks that need to set up a remote to score in.
