This deck borrows heavily from the early sync decks that made it extremely difficult for the runner to score a full 7 points. Basic rundown is as follows:

  • You run 18 points because you're a 44 card ID
  • 3 points can't be stolen because of GFI
  • 3 points score for you if tagged because of Quantum kitty
  • 1 point will just get reshuffled into your deck, 15 minutes
  • on top of this, 3 points can be lost to news team.
  • This leaves the runner with 8-11 points they can steal reliably.

Then exchange of informaton came out, and this deck got even wackier. I know everyone's been enjoying switching out for restructured datapool, but it turns out stealing food initiatives is actually really good too. In a deck that focuses on point denial, being able to outright steal a point from the runner can be absolutely backbreaking. There are routinely moments that the runner's lost well before you score out, because there aren't enough points left for them to steal.

Biggest weakness of the deck is data dealer or artist colony. Being able to completely ignore news teams makes them a liability in those match ups.
