Whizzard/Kim on the run

This is a run of the mill runner deck, but the best I've used in a while. The general game plan is to build your side faster than the corp. It's easy to do as long as you put pressure on the corp. For that reason, I chose to do things in the deck like drop Sure Gamble for Dirty Laundry. It forces me to run to get a bit of extra cash.

ID: I switch between Whizzard and Kim depending on the meta I'm in. The safe bet is Whizzard because he destroys Astrobiotics (and every meta has at least one player running them). However, Edward Kim is great for 2 reasons. 1) The power disrupts almost all corp decks. Everyone runs a couple of operations and those usually are vital for the overall game plan. 2) The link doesn't hurt either. So, run Kim if you know Astrobiotics is not a threat because he has a slight advantage over every other deck.

Card Choices: First and foremost, I want to talk about dead draws... I HATE 'EM! So, I try to have only 1x of cards when I feel like I can get them another way. That's why I run 2x Djinn. I look at Djinn as an extra copy of every virus I have. Use the 1cred1click power to find the virus you need at any time. It saved me 1x Imp, 1x Medium, 2x Clot, and 2x Datasucker. Also, I only have 1x Symmetrical Visage because I never miss it when I don't have it. I know I have 2 cards more than I should, but I don't know what to get rid of.

Breakers: Standard 2x of Anarch efficient suite. Good for making a lot of runs cheaply. D4v1d helps with the big ice in the beginning while the Datasucker can bring them down later. Net-Ready Eyes work well to deal with 4str ice like Lotus, Ichi 1.0, and News Hound.

Memory: Grimoire gives 2mu plus the nice bonus for all my viruses. Djinn helps further when it shows up.

Economy: Resource heavy to take advantage of the Career Fair splash. Kati Jones is crucial for long games.

Influence: Clone Chips (6) are a must if you are Parasite/Datasucker removing annoying ice. Net-Ready Eyes (4) work too well with Anarch breakers/D4v1d to pass up. Career Fair (2) to take advantage of the economy. And then there's Employee Strike (3)...

Employee Strike: Because it always disrupts the corp! Every Corp deck is built around their ID to some degree. HB:EtF is on the low end of the spectrum but it really adds up after a couple of turns. The most effective use is against Jinteki: RP. Melt's their Sundews and only the most experienced RP player will not be tempted to rush an ill advised early score when Employee Strike comes down. Oh, almost all NBN decks fall apart as well.

Notes for what you play against:

HB: Net-Ready Eyes Mimic if there is unrezzed ice (Ichi 1.0 will destroy you). Also, try to have clicks when you run unrezzed ice. Most HB decks use Eli 1.0 (HQ), Architect (R&D), Turing (remote), and Ichi 1.0 (multiple iced servers).

NBN: Try to run on iced servers in the beginning. I love seeing rezzed Data Ravens and Pop-ups so I can trash them using Parasite. If it is Fast Advance, save your Clone Chips for Clot retrieval. If it is Tag N' Bag, use the Clone Chips on Parasites.

Jinteki: RP falls apart if you have Employee strike out. Sundew looks a lot worse if you can run on it click 1. The rest of the decks are looking to do net damage to you. Make sure to keep a full hand and save the I've Had Worse for net damage protection.

Weyland: Not seen much but still should be mentioned. Blue Sun and Argus are the most common, however I've seen a Titan played once or twice. Whatever the case may be, dig for your Employee Strike's and get the in play ASAP. All of these decks rely heavily on their ID power. Just imagine Blue Sun using a turn one OAI Orion combo, only to have it sit there protecting archives until they score an agenda. By that point, you can find D4v1d or Corroder and destroy that ice, keeping the corp 15 credits poorer.
