Nothing too crazy. Prepaid kate, no scavenge because who needs that. Pro con is the greatest thing ever. Same with two same old things. Oh, and indexing.
Deck went 4-2 on day 1 of Australian nationals, beating butchershops and PE but dropping 1 game to NEH FA and one game to TWIY Yellow Flash.
Deck went 5-0 on day 2 in double elimination, beating NEH FA, butchershops, TWIY Yellow Flash, PE.
The deck can do it all. NEH FA is probably the scariest matchup because a slow start or a slow midgame can be hard to play, though I could have just been out of practice.
With a bit of practice, this deck destroys butchershop. It also wrecks PE. Just don't rush things and apply pressure with board presence.
Would not change a card on this list, other than to make room for 1 or 2 film critics. What to cut? Maybe one smc (but I like having 3). Maybe a SOT. Maybe a Plascrete. Never really needed it.

Yikes, not sure who you are, but sounds like you might have taken any losses that you might have suffered a bit too seriously? I'll take accusations of cheating as flattery, I guess. |

You never played me... As for my losses... I always congratulated my opponents and wished them luck in their next rounds. I'm not the only one who saw you doing it either, also caught on camera at the Adelaide regionals final and now also at Nats. I just hope that the other Adelaide players know/find out and put and end to you taking advantage of the Netrunner communities friendliness. Most of them aren't from a magic background and don't know the shady, underhanded tactics some people will employ just to win some games. Anyway in the end justice was served and the Better player won |

I played the EXACT deck as Firesa! its a brilliant list and went 5-1 for me on the day. I still somehow managed to miss the cut :( We did a little deck testing together during the SC/Regional period so I guess its not surprising that we came up with the same thing... My only loss was against the national champ Daryl Russell, where his Chronos Project managed to wipe my DeusX. Had a 2x wins Vs RP, 1 vs NEH Biotic , 1 vs Jinteki PE, 1 vs HB Foundry |

I'd also cut plascrete for Film Critic when i get my copy :) I think I've only installed it a couple times in the last month during testing. Sometimes I felt a 3rd Makers maybe better than 1x indexing, but its a meta call / personal pref. |

I think you guys both dropping the scavenge was a good call, definitely not needed. I still had my scavenge, no DeusX, CyCy instead of Gordian. Of course I didn't come close to you guys. I would probably consider dropping plascrete as well. Patience and consistent pressure from this deck makes you so much money. |

Yeah agree with people's thoughts on the deck and the film critic slot. As for "Justice", thanks for your feedback, buddy. If you think your views have genuine merit, feel free to bring them to the attention of TOs next time, and don't make a new account to anonymously whine on the internet, maybe? I'm sure the Adelaide players will catch on to my cheating before long, and I look forward to re-watching, and maybe even commentating, on my own supposed cheating at nats in the next few days. So stay tuned for those. Might even give you a shout out ^^ |

Hey "Justice", I don't know what you think you saw, but I guarantee you are mistaken. I'm a veteran ANR player from Adelaide and I can assure you that Alex got his placing at Nationals via a lot of hard work practicing, and that he is not a cheater. And speaking of questionable moral charactistics, you're a coward to accuse him of cheating via an anonymous account here. Get over to the 'Android Netrunner Australia' facebook group and make your accusations in your own name. |

Only was able to watch the final, but it looked like a very formidable deck, never got to play against you unfortunately though , well done on the second place , so close to the win overall |

Thanks very much smattc, yeah there were so many great players in the top 16, would have been great to get a chance to play you as well. Ah well, if we are really keen we can always make a date of it on octgn or jinteki.net sometime in the future ^^ |

Just to clarify the issue is not that he shuffles the deck (which he is allowed to do) It is that he looks at what is in the deck while he is doing so (which he is not allowed to do) giving him a massive advantage, for example finding out if an neh is butcher or astrobiotics. He also stops shuffling the bottom card into the deck (mechanical shuffling) once a key card for that deck is on the bottom. For example midseasons/biotic/prepaid/clot. This was reported to have happened to a few players. The TO was notified but did not watch to see if he was doing it. He was unable to do it in the finals as there were too many people watching him. |

I feel like people were watching me for many games, like, all the games leading up to the final including v wilfy, and a ton of other ones? And you think I changed my shuffling for the second game of the finals? But not the first? I kinda just feel bad for you, justice, that you feel the need to hide your identity, but also seem to feel so very strongly about something. In any case my thoughts on this matter have been posted before, and I appreciate the support of all those who have chimed in since ^^ so that's that |

Ha you feel sorry for me I feel sorry for you, that you feel you need to cheat at a card game to get an edge especially from what I've seen you are a very good player |

Ehh .. these are some serious accusations for otherwise a not very original deck. Prepaid has proven to work time over time again ... :C Personally for me, if I'm giving an opinion here, because in our small playgroup, we have a very bad tryhard and he would borderline cheat on some occasions, just so he can win some games. You either have to play dumb and blind and let him win, or call him out. Sadly if you do the first, he will just think he is the smartest s**t ever and the best player around. So I can understand why At the same time I respect

Haha thanks for your opinion, dydra. I have been doing some commentary on the many vids coming up from the Australian nats, and since I am in tons of those, people will be able to see for themselves (and I was relieved to find that I was very happy with my shuffling xD) :) |

The second an opponent starts shuffling my deck in a tournament, I say hold on buddy get a judge to do it. I find the fact that shuffling another players deck is legal absurd, not to mention a somewhat aggressive act in general. |

Well I've just watched a bunch of Alex's games on YouTube from the Aussie Nats... gotta say most of the time he's not even looking at the deck he's shuffling. @Justice, buddy, you need to switch to your happy meds mate ;) |
I suppose it's easy to beat Butchershop when you mechanical shuffle instead of cutting your opponents deck and look at what they're playing... Good thing you were being watched like a hawk in the final and Justice was served
