Grifter, Underworld Contact, Daily Casts, Desperado, Professional Contacts, Compromised Employee. All passive economy, no Clicks needed: you do your thing, they provide you money. As such, I think Gabriel Santiago is the Identity you really want, instead of Andromeda, due to the extra income it provides.
Grifter is a card for a very aggressive playstyle, so it's better to have plenty of Run type events as well, just to keep you on the move. Account Syphon, Dirty Laundry, Inside Job, Running Interference and The Maker's Eye... plus Sneakdoor Beta which makes you run as well.
There is no recycle, due to lack of influence for it, mainly. But in a deck that aims at running every single turn, you should finish the game before you run out of cards.

Hmm yes, I kinda overlooked the Link 0 of Gabriel. Initially it was an Andromeda deck, but lacking that 1 Link is very bad indeed, considering the importance of Underworld Contact. Other than that, I think 2 Hostage are more than enough, you're mostly supposed to use one for Professional Contacts anyway, which will make drawing the rest of the stuff you need more efficient. I don't think you need more copies of Special Order either, given that you also have Inside Job and Running Interference, which could very well work like another Inside Job, since the Corp will have to pay double for each ICE and might opt out of rezzing any at all. Now I'm wondering if I should maybe remove Yog.0 in favor of the third Rabbit Hole and keep Gabe, or just switch to Andromeda. Some times I feel that people forgot how to play with the normal starting hands and consider Andromeda the cure for everything. 2 extra credits for each run on HQ did make the difference, back when Gabe was the only Criminal identity, after all. |
Choosing Gabe over Andy seems a bit weird to me in this context, as you'll both get use out of her link, and could definitely use the 9-card hand: you're a bit combo-intensive, and will take your time getting out of the gate this way. For instance, 2 Rabbit holes and no other link might very well mean you'll take forever to get Underworld Contacts going. Same thing with only 2 Hostage and only 2 Special Order.
This will work if you can get into HQ starting with turn 1 and never stopping. If you'll get stopped, you're mostly boned for a while, as you try to fish for the cards you'll need to make things work.
