Nasir and D4v1d sitting in a tree. v02

DataFran 42

Slightly tweaked. Took out the Professional Contacts and the Leprechauns, put in 2 Levy AR Lab Accesses and tweaked some of the other card counts. Maybe more solid?

My question is: what problem does D4v1d solve that Nasir needed an answer for but didn't have in-faction?

Howler or already-rezzed ice can really screw up Nasir's tempo. If you have a way to walk through those high-strength ice without credits it really patches a weakness for Nasir.

Ice that are already rezzed though are good news for Nasir. For the 8 influence you've spent on D4V1D you could much more easily justify running something like an Atman: load up on Mopus credits before a run, put Atman on the Personal Workshop, and head on in. There are plenty of in-faction solutions that leave you with a lot more room for influence.

Same goes for Deja Vu. I'm assuming you want to use it to recur D4V1D but you already have 3 clone chips, and 3 test runs. D4V1D doesn't trash when its counters run out, so why not run a Scavenge instead? Not only does it combo exceedingly well with test run, it's another in-faction solution to a problem that's easily solved.

I hear what you're saying, and once I get this deck to the table and it inevitably needs tweaks I'm definitely going to refer to your suggestions!

@DataFran I agree with @BTrain on everything said; Atman is generally a must-have in most Shaper decks anyway. If you go Atman, go 3x Datasucker. What I'm guessing you'll find when you play this is 1) there are too many expensive things, 2) you're going to wish you ran scavenge, and that 3) 2x D4v1d is too situational unless your meta consists of only glacial HB and Weyland decks.

If you have access to D4v1d, you also have access to Ghost Runner, which is better than Cloak. 3x Cloak is probably too many, since you already have efficient breakers (well, except for Snowball). It's unclear what you're Aesopsing (besides D4).
