Textbook Hayley [Post NAPD Most Wanted]

Shmeguy 1595

Turns out Shapers got hit pretty hard by the Most Wanted list. Here's the latest iteration of my Pawnshop Hayley build. Major change is Shrike (which I haven't tested yet). It seemed like a good idea to slot in replacing mimic+sucker for a few reasons: Parasite is too hard to import now, so datasucker has less overall synergy in the deck. Nerf to architect means that fastro and food are running ALOT more ichi1.0, and shrike breaks it pretty handily. On the other hand the nerf to parasite might make Komainu more common? Shrike is v. decent vs Komainu. Also just deals with some of mimic's weaknesses like Susanoo, Assassin, Ichi2.0 Other changes to the deck include film critic (I sense a rise in Jinteki and kill decks in general), Sure gamble is back sadly, and HQI replacing Legwork for more sustained pressure. Happy New Year.

Just use mimic + datasucker. I don't know what I was expecting from shrike, you need mimic for early game aggression.

@shmeguy I do wonder if taking 2x Cerberus "Lady" H1 is worth it over just taking Corroder now. Sure you lose the power but also the limited use and since you run 2 your not any worse of influence wise you also gain a deck slot in the process.

Yeah it's up for debate to be honest, we need to see how the meta shifts. With Eli definitely out of astrobiotics, and it possibly being replaced by NEXT in food, corroder does look nicer. If weyland gains a lot of ground from the restricted list, then corroder is also nice for ice walls and and spiderwebs compared to lady. I'm still a very big fan of lady though, and its fits nicely in the list because of Aesop's and scavenged when its dry. I will do more testing when more people have implemented the MWL :)

What about Snowball? I'm not convinced the small difference in cost compared with Corroder is worth losing the two influence points, which could get you some pretty neat stuff.

@Priestess of Athe Snowball is massively expensive in comparison to Corroder don't under estimate the difference of a credit.

Ok 2 credit difference to install isn't that bad I can live with it but 1 less str is alot that an extra credit every time you need to increase str add's up it's kinda like the difference between using an opus and clicking for credits that's massive even tho it's only 1 more. Although Snowball's ability looks like it would help with that issue it rarely ever dose mainly as corps won't put barriers down in a way where it's off use unless they have to.

I also made a mistake replacing legwork with HQI. Legwork is the bomb.com.

@shmeguy Yeah legworks generally alot better I find than HQI. But Nerve Agent is also worth thinking about for shapers, its a little cheaper than HQI and searchable tho you need a few runs to build it up.
