Deck valid after Sixth Rotation |
I love Snare! It's cool surprise card which works not just everywhere, but sometimes even before you know you have it! Also after rotation of many tagging pieces that unconditional tag is better than ever.
But at times Runner is mean and figured this suspicious remote probably is trap. Runner plainly refuses to run it! What we can do, especially at Weyland?
We can launch fat MAD, because traps are naturally free to rez! Ability to turn bad boardstate (lots of traps runner ignores) into secured victory (as there is no way to remove 6+ tags in turn those days).
Our newest friend in long and respected dynasty of shady Weyland men with guns, Angelique, is cool: he's defensive upgrade/trap while also extra pip of damage which breaks runner's math when it comes to Clearinghouse or EOTL. Ability to pull 6 damage with single tag is something EOTL-based kill lacked.
Our asset/upgrade heavy setup promotes classical shellgame question: so, wanna check all those remotes? Oh, I just IAA, is this three points or four damage? Two damage somewhere later? Two points? Or am I just making money? Everything is installable, many things are also advancable, ID makes advances basically clicking for money (and as trap deck you click a lot while slowrolling anyway).
I still tune the list, but right now I'm unsure only about Pharos. Despite ability to surprise tag and quickly get into glacier level or taxing (especially with treeline), deck may be too poor to run it. It's quite ICE tight to play niche cards when you can run last Afshar or some cheap Ice Wall.

− 1 Hostile Architecture (only protects upgrades and rarely relevant while being very pricy) − 1 Pharos (too expensive) − 1 Afshar (we generally want to protect R&D more and too tight on ICE) − 1 Tree Line (good but a bit on heavier side)
− 1 Extract

Out: 1 Hostile Architecture (only protects upgrades and rarely relevant while being very pricy) 1 Pharos (too expensive) 1 Afshar (we generally want to protect R&D more and too tight on ICE) 1 Tree Line (good but a bit on heavier side) 1 Extract (we actually care about cards in table and frequently stay low) In: 3 Akhet (works with everything in our deck and greatly protects centrals) 1 Ice Wall (cheap) 1 Too Big To Fall (enables going from zero to kill, bp is irrelevant mostly) |
