Thank you for the great advice! I'm still pretty new and experimenting with the core set/What Lies Ahead/Order & Chaos. You've given me a lot to think about so I'll tweak and see what I can come up with! |
Hey! Hope you're having fun with Netrunner! I assume from this that you have a copy of the Core Set and a copy of Terminal Directive, but there are a couple cards out of those sets. Let's work from there. With 3 copies of Special Order, you probably don't need 3 or more of each type of icebreaker. Just a couple of each type will do, or 1 of each if you're backing it up with an AI. TD has the excellent Mammon for this purpose. Out of those breakers, the Terminal Directive breakers are the better ones in faction, but Corroder, Mimic and Yog are very efficient with Datasucker. On a similar train of thought, I'd recommend only one console - and Desperado is excellent. Free money for doing anything at all! Memory might be tricky if you want to stick with Magnum Opus, so consider an Akamatsu Mem Chip to fit it all in. Either way, don't forget you can trash programs when you don't need them. You'll find with testing that cards like Lemuria Codecracker, Infiltration, Access to GlobalSec and Decoy just don't cut it, so consider more draw and money, more cute events and resources that help you or mess up your opponent, and a third Account Siphon. Just remember that as a criminal you're all about early aggression - try to get that HQ access every turn until it's just not worth it, then money up with Magnum Opus and make the runs count later on. Good luck!
