The product of many lost games. Through all the previous versions of this deck, I kept running into the same problem, constant economy.
Prepaid variants always relied on event economy of which I would only see 1 or 2 if I was lucky, forcing me to spend my valuable recursion cards and towards the mid game the deck would stall, especially against glacier HB and RP decks.
Doubles ran into the same problem but slowed down my early aggression.
Kati Jones was really good at keep up the pace but slowed me to the point of only being able to run every 1 in 3 turns, allowing them the build bigger servers and created scoring opportunities.
Eventually I included magnum in the deck as the last chance to find some form of constant economy and Bang! paydirt. My early game is a little slower that the typical maxx eater variants but the deck can really weather mid and long game.
R&D interface for constant pressure. Forked and Spooned to keep the cost of crypsis down. Spinal modem and cyberfeeder to alleviate some of the click intensiveness of MO. Inject and retrieval run to get to MO early. Pretty strait forward setup for a RegAss Maxx deck that sets up early and can run nearly every turn.

Thanks! I will playtest some games with the recommendations that you made. My biggest concern is actually the loss of R&D Interface and the cyberfeeders. The credits from cyberfeeder really come in handy with keeping the cost of crypsis down (but then again so does datasucker) and I am think instead of R&D interface I will try putting in a medium or 2 instead of plastcretes, since I memstrips will give me the MU for it. |
Crypsis without Datasucker sounds pretty painful to me.
I would probably drop R&D interface for clone chips, drop a copy of spinal and all three cyberfeeders along with 1 forked, 2 amped up and 1 spooned for x3 parasites, datasuckers and memstrips.
You also can run resource econ since you aren't going tag me. Lots of great choices there.
