bring me his head

I want the runner dead, plain and simple. I have several ways to accomplish this. Inasmuch as it's possible get money and draw cards. Use the shutdowns to kill plascretes. Hope that he actually steals 1 or 2 agendas in one turn. Sea source him, then scorch him, whatever it takes to kill the filthy runner. This is purely theoretical, as GRNDL isn't yet in my hands. I would love to know what you think!

I wouldnt' worry about panic button to draw, the runner could just not run at HQ, which might be fine. But 3 jacksons is way better, and you'd have 1 inf free for...really anything.

Why play 2 swordsman ?

panic button leverages the amount of money that I am using, and lets me go for a big push in one turn if they have stolen anything useful, but you may be right, I'll take it into consideration.

as for the swordsman, I play in a crypsis heavy meta, with a nice splash of atmen, I would only bother with it if it would actually take out an ai otherwise its an unrezzed piece of ice to make the runner think a little harder before running.

If you're running Shutdowns just to kill Carapaces (and not to combo crap out), wouldn't a Power Grid Overload be much more reliable? Especially if you turn out to be right about how rich you're going to be :)

Or is it a matter of not wanting to be too trace-reliant?
