3rd place @ Plugged-In Tour Northfield NJ 5th place @ Plugged-In Tour Glen Burnie MD
Yet another Andromeda deck. I went undefeated as a runner with this deck both nights of the Plugged-In Tour. I am certain that I piloted this deck sub-optimally, since I felt like I was poor and flying by the seat of my pants a lot more often than I was comfortable with. Nevertheless, I was able to stumble my way into R&D enough times to scoop up sufficient agenda points to win.
- Clone Chip is effectively my 3rd and 4th copy of Faerie as well as insurance against getting Yog.0 discarded through Neural EMP, Rototurret faceplanting, or similar shenanigans. It was an all-star. - I fielded a couple criticisms about my "old school" Armitage Codebusting, but I don't think I'd cut Neutral Magnum Opus. As I mentioned, I run poor a lot of the time; if I'm broke, there's no better way to bootstrap myself back up to a healthy credit account than by dropping Armitage onto the table. - e3 was insurance against HB since I didn't know the local meta; I think it only played a role in one match. - Quality Time might actually be better as Diesel; as much as I like drawing a million cards, throwing away a grip's worth of cards and paying 3 credits ended up being a liability more often than not. Maybe if I had a lot more money more often, QT would be the correct choice. - This has the feel of a tag-me deck, though I'm usually pretty anxious about running tagged; Scorched Earth is no joke and I do usually want to keep Kati around. Consequently, Account Siphon usually read "3 Clicks: The Corp loses 5 credits. Gain 6 credits" in the games I was able to successfully land it. Not optimal, for sure. Maybe I'll care less about the tags and/or grow a pair after I play more and improve as a runner.
If you like your ressources, Crash Space might be a good replacement for Plascrete Carapace.
