Learning to kill, Adelaide Gnk 1st place

firesa 676

14 players, undefeated.

I played Prepaid Kate at Australian nationals and wanted to play something decidedly less OP. I also used to play Stealth Andy. This falls somewhere in between, and is still pretty strong.

Mull for Pro Con or money early. You'll spend a lot of early turns drawing twice or even three times and then installing some things. The deck has a weak early game (hence the legwork, stimhack, clot, all to fight NEH Fastro as butchershop is a pretty easy matchup) but it rocks the late game hard, and effectively locks out remotes, which means agendas start piling up in HQ, and then the rest is in R&D. Pro Co is pretty much the backbone of this deck and the earlier you find it and the easier it is for you to install, the better you'll go. Film Critic kills a lot of decks, but keeping high money and making sure to play that plascrete are still essential to not losing to sea source scorch. High str barriers suck but you can usually grind them out. Stacked sentries can suck as well but make sure not to let up pressure. Code gates are a joke.

If you like a deck that sacrifices some early game to wreck RP, glacier decks, and just anything midrangey, this is a fun option. If your meta is all NEH Fastro then maybe find something else. Oh the deck could probably be 45 cards. But eh, 46 is the new 45, right?

Also, only 14 influence, can prob cut a diesel for another career fair. Or make room for a shard for example. Whatever floats your boat.

I feel like Stimhack is not that useful, since you want to be using stealth creds for most of your accesses. Did you find it to be helpful?

Heya @shanodin, I feel like stimhack can definitely be cut, but sometimes you'll have an smc and an early stimhack, and your opponent tries to rush out agendas, and in that situation it is amazing. It also helps you set up your rig faster and without dipping into your own money, so I have enjoyed using it. I have also used it to break a few turn 1 OAId curtain walls, to great effect. So yeah, it's definitely a personal choice, but it has served me well, personally, and at 1 influence it's pretty good

That all sounds like pretty solid reasoning :D surprise smashing through an OIAd Curtain Wall is a very satisfying experience!
