For God's Sake Put Magnet In Your Azmari [2nd @ London CO]

This deck is only three cards different from the well-oiled Laurazmari machine you know and love.

The core gameplan is incredibly solid - jam agendas in the remote as quickly as possible. In the time it takes your opponent to scrape together the icebreakers and money they need to actually threaten the remote without eating a Hard-Hitting News, you've blitzed your way to five points. From there, good luck checking the remote every single turn without going broke and eating tags. The runner might like to race you to 7 points by running centrals, but their odds on R&D aren't good because the agenda suite is weirdly robust - if you can score even one of the two-pointers, it becomes almost impossible for your opponent to win the game without paying for a Bellona.

The Achilles heel of the deck is Botulus. Literally every ice in the deck has exactly one relevant subroutine, so they can just install it blindly to guarantee access to the remote or tear open a central. Enter... Magnet.

It's not polite to point out what always happens to Wile E Coyote in the end.

Put Magnet as the inner ice on your scoring server and watch your opponent slowly realise the horrible truth of their predicament. They can't Botulus it, they can't Bankhar it, and unless their Black Orchestra is very, very near the top of their giant pile of cards, they will just... lose.

On the day this went 3-1, beating Hoshiko, 419 and Esa, only going down to the incredible power of Kit after giving up 4 points to a turn 1 Maker's Eye.

I'd love suggestions for the last flex slot. I wanted a 13th ice, and Endless EULA was a bit too expensive in testing - you want flexible ice that can go on any server and which you can rez without slowing down your rush plan. But Jua was a bit underwhelming on the day. Sometimes the runner doesn't have two cards installed, sometimes they break it for 1 with Bukhgalter - and I never managed to pull off the highroll where you score because the Jua is in front of a Ping and they don't have any way to get their Paperclip out of the bin. Probably it should just be a third Ping but let me know if you have any better ideas.

Hey, congratz. I came exactly to the same conclusion regarding Magnet. But I had no time to practise the 2 Seasmless Launch version. Instead of Jua you might play Unsmilling Tsarevna in sentry slot. It fits the deck style and is more resilient to Botulus. But I still believe Endless Eula might be better here than Tolbooth since it eats Botulus and Boomerang which both threaten your rush plan.

Whitespace is great, I love that ice, I would install it on every server.

I would also prefer Endless Eula over Tollbooth even though you have 2x Magnet already.
