First testing game

Yes you should definetly forget to slot End of the Line and proxy one of your regoliths into it. No, you shouldnt bring extra sleeves to any event.

There's probably nothing much new to say about this list. It's just rongys NEH shell adapted to Startup.

Funhouse and VSA are sicko ice into a meta where most runners try to avoid producing real breakers for style points.

Wage Workers is gas, but also not essential. Runners will trash it, only to realize that trash cost them 8-12 credits and 4 extra clicks.

Since we are compressed on slots, we cannot slot more beholds and slot Orcale Think Tanks instead.

The agendas are always/rarely/never in HQ/on the table/the bottom of RD; everything everywhere all at once. But, do you dear runner really want to steal them right now? Thought so.

  • Game 1 against seal (Hermes Tao) was off to a great/horrible start. I put Funhouse turn 1 in front of HQ, only for him to Jailbreak RD twice for 4 points, while trashing dragos. Both players regretted that turn. I followed this up with Oppo, putting hard brakes onto the game. To only slowly rebuild my economy to produce the kill. We traded WW for Tags a few times, that allowed me to Mindscape the runner into ending things.
  • Game 2 against Freddy (~~DJ~~ Steve). The core damage seems to have taken over into that game. I don't remember a single thing about this game.
  • Game 3 against Watzlav (Padme). We got to figure out how to properly sequence Federal Fundraising, DBS and Balanced Coverage. Watzlav also graciously reminded me that I kept showing him cards to get 2 credits and not as a weird sort of transparency initiative. Either way, Wage Workers+Tomorrows Headline helped me pop the No Free Lunch, to then set up for the kill with Drago.
  • Game 4 against Girometics (Red Team Ari) was the toughest of the bunch. They focussed on centrals as much as possible, contested a flooded HQ for 5 points, stalling the game. Meanwhile, my board was absolutely not developing, I had 3 Balanced Coverage and 0 Feds, 1 Reaper Function and barely the econ to pull everything off. After sweating things out for a while, I managed to draw the End of the Line to keep Berlins streets clean of frog grafittis.

This decklist is a lot of fun to pilot, though in a strange way, the most important parts are piloting themselves. The questions it asks of you are,

  • when do you install agendas to not flood up? Early SAM and Oracle BEHOLD!Tanks can go onto the table. Threat 3 will break the runners econ.
  • when does drago get iced up/used to trash NFL? Usually, when you can put two on the board (hint: If I show you a drago, the second one is also on the table, I'm not stupid like that :^)
  • HOW DO YOU ARRANGE YOUR TOP 3 CARDS TO MOVE THE AGENDA TO THE BOTTOM WHILE NOT REVEALING YOUR KEY PIECES?
  • Do I really want to draw 3 cards each turn, yes or yes?

It's difficult to evaluate single pieces in this list, as this is more of a Chimera of mutliple wincons crammed into each other. Plano/YDL both are great econ pieces in a pinch, when Rego/Balanced Coverage don't show up. Marilyn might actually be better served as Retribution, but i never got to stick tags when it actually mattered beyond popping NFL/kill, so ymmv.

Thanks everyone for showing up yesterday for great games of netrunner.
