Nasir Type-F v1.4

duckie192 9

Beach Party + Adjusted Chronotype + Gene Conditioning shoppe = A maximum 15 hand size!

Economy is usually a problem for Nasir, so naturally Faust is the best is breaker for him. Problems for Faust is first the power, so 2 personal touches + a net-ready eyes makes faust a 5 strength power house, gettable past things such ICHI 2.0 and Tollbooth,

Secondly, Using mimic to get past komainu and swordsman, and getting the parasite onto them so you get past them (works on Turing as well), and Inti is just there just for wraparounds.

SMC + Clone Chips will do a parasite tutor and recursion as needed.

e3 feedback implants is to give Faust a little extra longevity in the long game, and film critic is to get past agendas that you need to pay to score, such as NAPD contracts, or when you're playing against an Argus deck.

other than that, host stuff on workshop and work with the order of sol. and the modded makes set up so much faster. and 2 copies of levy makes things restart when you run out of cards to power Faust.

try it out, please give comments to help. personally i only dread the set up. (it is not a speedy deck)

I'm running something similar, its a fun fun deck to play. Only issue I have is how you afford to trash things like Blacklist and The new Jinteki asset (draw two cards a turn)? Same thing goes for getting back up to the Levy? I have one copy of Armitage Codebusting so usually I pull off that just before the Levy.

The beach Party conditioning shop combo is a great idea, might have to see if I can fit it in.

@ZeRogue i usually use the credits from the rezzed ice to trash assets, if i need to? if not i'll just leave the asset and pressure the r&d. with faust, i should technically be able to get into any server i want, and blacklist isn't an issue unless i really need to recur stuff...

about credits, this deck runs on pressure and targeting running with very little credits, so it usually isn't an issue to just click to money up. adding to fact that i usually have 2 beach parties on the table and usually a full hand of 15 cards.

when i Levy, its usually the only time the corp has to breathe, but by the time i need to do it, most of what i need is already on the table, and 80% of the time i have drawn a copy of game day on the reset. based on that, i usually have no issues on playing a slower paced game.

about genetics pavilion, i haven't seen enough of it for it to be an issue to me, but i believe i'll do the same thing with blacklist.

i'll try out some money options, and see if i can change some stuff up.

It would seem that 1 more SMC and 1 less Faust would provide some much needed influence. Possibly something like

-1 Faust, -1 NRE, -1 mimic +1 SMC, +1 imp, +1 scavenge

Swordsman and komaniu will hurt but they're fairly rare and you do have clone chips and levies (and extra faust) for faust trash.

The astrolabe seems unneeded as well. Perhaps another money card (armitage or ghostrunner or something)

I've won a GNK with a version without the Shoppe, and I'm hesitant of going even MORE combo-y. Its great when it's set up, but I think I'd prefer running 3x Public Sympathy and maybe a Brain Cage. You cap out at 13 cards, but the setup it less binary. It's no the end of the world to only have 9 cards in hand.

Also, grab some Scrubber or Paricia. Assets are a huge PITA as Nasir.

@sruman``@Thike``@ZeRogue

taking suggestions into mind, the probable changes i would make would be,

-1 Inti, -1 Astrolabe, -1 Faust, +1 Paricia +2 Scrubber

i think i'll rather go with the shoppe, rather than 3 public sympathies + Brain cage, simply because it's less expensive, (pay once instead of 3x) and also more cards to fit into my deck, although it is less binary to set up.

as for a money option, i'm not sure what is a good idea to put in. For Armitage, there is a limit, and i need to use 2 clicks before it pays off ( 1st install, 2 click for money) and daily cast gives money every turn but that's not an option that i want, because i only want money when i need money. it sounds weird, but that's kinda how i need to run this deck, based on how (semi) aggressive i am (practically losing money every turn/run). and Kati probably is one for glory runs, so i'm not sure when the payoff is worth it for this deck.

all in all, i'll test it out and see how it goes, and i'll let everyone know how it goes.
