You Have 8 Credits (4th @ 🌞🦋)

(Jokes aside, I think Bellona made for interesting games and ultimately had a positive impact on NetRunner, even if sometimes things must go away for new things to grow in their place)

This is the final evoultion of Muntal Bost's Holo Ops, with two optimizations the team came two together:

-1 Hedge Fund, +1 Hansei Review. The original list was actually only on 14 influence, and the discard synergy to bin your Hydras more easily makes this card a super obvious use of that list pip in hindsight.

-1 Spin Doctor, +1 Public Trail. This one is more controversial, but we felt that the deck goes fast enough with the R+ ability and tempo positive ICE that we were set on draw, and we WANT to be drawing and jamming agendas, meaning spin doctor would be more for a recursion piece -- still very good with the operations we have, but in an Esa light meta not crucial to be at 3x. Public Trail is VERY good against Loup (and to a lesser extent Hoshiko) mulch-style decks that like to sit around on low credits.

This deck went 3-1 in swiss and 1-1 in the cut; my only two losses were to Arissana lists, where between Hush, Kyuban, Physarum, Trick Shot, etc, you cannot as effectively leverage the otherwise messed up ICE suite.

Normally I'd write something up about tips to play the deck, but Bellona was recently banned and I don't think this deck survives that in a meaningful way. I have mixed feelings about the Bellona ban; some of my best tournament finishes have been with yellow decks where Bellona is a lynchpin, and some of my worst feeling losses have com from knowing that even if I can get more accesses in a game point situation, I just won't have the money to steal this card. But change is good, and I am excited to see what a post-Bellona world looks like, even if that means NBN takes a turn in the gutter.
