I've been playing this deck for the past few days and got to the point where it holds up well enough to show it to the world. I think. This deck can use two of the three Biotech IDs. Let's forget the Tank, because I can't see how that ability is ever going to be worthwhile. Biotech is all about the Brewery and the Greenhouse, and the great thing is you can choose which one to play after you see your cards, and even after you mulligan.
Greenhouse (4 advancements)
A very good ability that either lets you score a Nisei on turn 2 (even while broke), or score an IA Future Perfect late in the game. To be honest, I have thus far never used it to score TFP, but shittons of times for Nisei. To score a Nisei as soon as possible, you ideally want one or two ETR ICE in your opening hand, Chimera is awesome for that, but any of the barriers work reasonably well. Against Criminal, remember to account for Inside Job and Siphon. Against Shaper, be prepared to give up points in R&D. As soon as you have scored a Nisei, you just money up, weather the storm and score your shit through, RP style. Fast track those Niseis, and if you haven't flipped your ID yet, you can even fake an Edge of World for Nisei (see below).
Brewery (2 net damage)
Harder to set up than Greenhouse. I basically only use this if I have Edge of World or Janus in my opening hand (might work with Cortex Lock as well). Edge of World does serious work in this deck, threatening a Nisei score if the ID isn't flipped yet. To set up a kill, you need to get off some brain damge from Janus or Edge of World, then probably stick a Hiro into the remote. You might even need to protect him with Caprice. As said above, this is hard to set up. It's a lot of fun though, and as long as you haven't flipped your ID, the runner has to respect both abilities. Fun play: Fast Track for a Nisei, install something in a remote. Is it the Nisei you're going to score next turn? The runner doesn't know until he runs into Edge of World. Mindgames. Celebrity Gift is weaker for the kill than for the rush, because you give away your "secret tech" like Edge of World, Hiro, Janus. Be careful with that. This way of killing the runner has the great advantage of completely ignoring IHW. It does suck against Feedback Filter and Deus X though, so you need to get the runner to waste Clone Chips / SMCs by scoring agendas even if you actually want to kill him.
The ICE suite is rather straightforward, lots of ETR stuff and mostly cheap to save money for Janus / lots of mindgames. Atman 2 and 4 are a bit of a problem, but I haven't encountered a dedicated Katman deck in forever, so you should be fine anyway. Blue Level Clearance is great to dig for Niseis (or Hiro to finish off the runner), if you prefer to IA your Niseis, you can switch these out for GLC to enable GLC into IA Nisei.
So yeah, I think I explained most of the things I wanted to. I'm having a blast playing it, I hope this encourages some of you to try it. I should probably mention this deck is not Tier 1 though. As if you hadn't already thought that.
