Try to give them an agenda, and then either Dedicateds kill them or win with psychographics. Bernice/Muckraker/Ichi/Raven can give tags early, so can psycho a 5/3 early to give you an early edge. As soon as you can Jackson 3 good targets (usually Dedicated/Bernice/Psycho), generally a good idea to shuffle.

For that to work you have to have the agenda in place already, and in that case you might as well advance old-school. Doing it over 2 turns only works on people with less than 6 credits. Of course, you could have a plan of "sea source, big brother, closed accounts, then install+psycho next turn", but that's a super-circumstantial plan requiring 4 specific cards in hand... |

The fact that this deck is more often than not flooded with agendas means that a) my main issue with midseasoning them is not having midseason, and b) retreat can shuffle away additional agendas/cards that aren't doing much (data raven and bernice are both pretty terrible post-midseason) and open up a new hand. Was considering playing more agendas in general (might go up to three TGTBT, and beale is an option) but this deck can still win without psycho; keeping the runner broke and scoring behind a tollbooth is legit. |
Shouldn't you be running more fewer-point agendas, to have the Midseason play (which is basically your only reasonable tag-delivery mechanism) be available more often, and with a smaller opportunity cost?
This version basically can't score any agendas whatsoever until you actually connect that Midseason... at the very least, drop the Retreats (it's a horrible agenda for you, for several reasons) and Restructures, and swap them for Astros and Breaking News (3 of each). That way you'll actually be able to Midseason more often, and yet won't be so hopelessly tying your fate to that play alone.
