Blue Sun The Root/Exec Boot Camp Combo

This is a Blue Sun build which aims to build up ICE defences on the corp's turn using the combo of The Root and Executive Boot Camp. You can stack the EBC trigger to resolve after the ID ability, meaning you can rez The Root at the beginning of your turn if it is untrashed, use the credits to rez ice, bounce The Root for profit and then reinstall it in the remote unrezzed. This can be repeated, effectively giving the install action a net value of 3 credits plus the 1 credit discount from EBC.

EBC can be used to tutor for Adonis Campaign or Reversed Accounts for economy or bluffing capabilities. NAPD Contract becomes nearly impossible for the runner to score once Utopia Fragment is scored, and even without UF scored, is a taxing agenda to install behind big Ice in a remote and improves the resilience of centrals.

Crisium Grid helps against Siphon and R&D lock, and the Grail Ice provide some surprise value even while rezzed on the corp's turn, as the runner does not know what subroutines they may be hiding.

Hive is super-effective as a remote stopper early to score the first agenda, and you're always happy to rez it on your turn as there isn't much they can do about it anyway.
