Pre-rotation decklist |
Work in progress. Comments/suggestions welcome. So far, I've played 6 games with this deck and won all 6. But, that could simply be because people haven't completely figured out how to play against the ID yet.
59 cards because I want to drop 9 of them in Archives ASAP (Shi.Kyu, Shock!, Subliminal Messaging) and possible a Future Perfect or two, plus whatever else needed to keep the ID relevant.
Two viable ways to win - flatline (Mushin No Shin a Cerebral Overwriter and/or Ronin and watch them cry when they either take BD or realize they can't trash the Ronin). Also, build a nice remote with Red Herrings (which should be ridiculously expensive to trash) and start scoring agendas. If you can get out Utopia Fragment early, even better. They simply won't be able to afford paying 9+ for a NAPD, 7+ for a Fetal (but they take the net damage), etc.
Economy -
- "Failed" Cerebral Overwriters are wonderful protection for Shell Corporation.
- Sundews should be extremely expensive to trash.
- Subliminal Messaging is not there primarily for econ, it is there to keep some facedown cards in archives.
Weaknesses -
- Imp. Purge counters on that. Don't let them use it more than once.
- Feedback Filter. Hopefully they're too poor to use it. If they aren't, that's fine. Make them pay for it. Use up those Ronins to make them poor so you can score. It may be worth putting in Shattered Remains.
- Not a ton of ice, and it is leaky. If possible, it i nice to stack Eli, Lotus Field and Janus on Archives. That should keep it pretty secure.
Agendas -
- Utopia Fragment. Like a child, take care of it when the game is young and it will take care of you when the game is old. Of course, you can't count on it every game.
- Future Perfect, NAPD Contract, Fetal AI all protect themselves to a degree. Helped out more with Red Herrings and Utopia Fragment.
- Chronos Project. Don't let them use Levy. If you see any thought of recursion on their part, nuke their game plan.

Melange Mining Corp. is worth looking at for this id man is it good, I had one guy run at an unprotected one only to waste the click when he realized it was 8 creds to trash. Also i found i prefered PAD Campaign over Sundew just because it's harder to trash when you id is doing nothing great for early game and after an archive run. 14 Ice seems very slim since your gonna want to protect Archive and as early as possible. |
Red Herrings is a very nice touch, I had not thought about that!
