Disclaimer: this deck is a lot of fun but is very fragile, I absolutely love it but I don't think it is reliable. Thank you everyone at the Birmingham Startup CO for making such a fun tournament.

This deck is a deck that people (including me) think looks bad,,, surely it can't be good, PD's whole thing is having an impenetrable remote, why are you playing practically remoteless???

Cowards, all of them.

You see, I was bored and frustrated, I was playing skunk void in standard and startup, and I needed something different. I had also seen a number of PD startup decks which threw some YDLs in, seemingly just because it works in standard right? So I decided to work out how to make YDL in startup PD worth it. I quiockly decided Superconducting was the pivotal card, but i found putting a 1 point agenda in my skunkvoid frustrating and a waste of resources..... so what else can I do and what do I use all this money for?

Aha! Big Deal at Home!

Biotic Labour is a fantastic card, in a meta where runners are quite good at getting in, it just does not give them a window, its downside being expensive being fixed by the massive YDLs this deck can generate.

The other thing I noticed runners were very good at... R&D access, but HQ access much less so.... with 8, 10, or 12 cards in hand I can comfortably hide agendas within the gentle clutch of HQ. Especially with HQ being bigger than R&D in the late game.

The last problem... I refuse to build a deck with high agenda density, it just sits wrong with me, so the deck has three SAMs. How do you score a SAM? two (or maybe three methods).

1) If wage workers has been allowed to live (from fear of Oppo) you can fast advance a SAM at 6 credits. If this is your plan you should hold the subliminal in hand because you need it, the turn is Subliminal, Greasing, Biotic, (WW Click), Adv, Adv, Adv, (WW Click), Adv, Adv,,,, congrats, you just scored a SAM in one turn from 6 credits.

2) If the runner is tagged (because you big oppod them for daring to trash your wage workers) then you get to fast advance SAM for Biotic, Biotic, Greasing (using the secondary ability on greasing).

3) 17 credits on the table (or 15 and a grease), congrats... I succeeded at this twice in the tournament, its surprisingly doable with spin dr, draw power and small remaining deck. Biotic, Biotic, Biotic, Install, Adv, Adv, Adv, Adv, Adv,,, Score.

THE 11 CLICK TURN - Biotic, Greasing, adv, adv, adv (score luminal), draw, draw, draw, YDL, Archived Memories, YDL.... this turn will be on my gravestone.

Other tips and tricks for this deck:

All the ice is for centrals, do not ice a remote, there is not the spare ice for it.

do not worry about WW being trashed, just oppo them or make the most of the investment of their time and resources.

Agendas are safest in HQ, try not to shuffle agendas back into R&D too often. Try to score one or two superconductings before any other agendas, even luminal, if you have luminal and superconducting in hand, you usually want to prioritise the superconducting so you can better use the bonus turn of luminal with YDLs later.
