First off, the regalias: I've dropped one game due to getting greedy to win instead of getting a timed draw, but every other game ended in a win for me. My runner (Cham Kate) didn't do as well, and so after swiss I was sharing second place with @stCarolas
. Unfortunately we had to delay the cut because we unexpectedly got kicked out of the venue at 10PM, so I'll update you guys on how well I'll do overall.
This is a deck derived from the ridiculously simple and efficient concept by @Fictional
. It's just your basic boring "no bad cards" ETF with a modified econ and 3x Biotics, which makes this deck a blast to pilot and completely transforms ETF's usual game plan into a whole different beast.
Ok, but seriously, this deck relies on completely messing up the runner's tempo with sheer efficiency and maybe some mind games.
Here's the plan:
Never advance a 3/2 behind 1-2 ice and an Ash when you've accumulated a little money (which happens FAST).
Repeat step 1.
Never advance a GFI and score it with 2 Biotics from a random ass server. I'm serious, this works 90% of the time. If you have an asset and a GFI in hand, try dropping the asset in the scoring server and GFI in a server where Launch Campaign just ran out ;)
Obviously you can just play the regular HB Glacier game with this deck, and that's the whole beauty of it. It really scares me when I'm on the other side of the table playing against this deck, the thought of a wrong move makes me demotivated enough to give my opponent lots of chances to score.
Noise: This one's special, as always. Really depends on the skill level of your opponent, but I've won against the Hacker Extraordinaire many a time. Just keep your Jacksons safe, never advance stuff behind a couple ICE, and try to draw into Archived Memories for extra safety. Basic stuff.
Chameleon Kate/Hayley: Gotta go fast! Take note of the turns when they install their Chams, they won't be able to use them next turn (at least before they throw them on PW, which costs clicks. After that turn, never advance an agenda. Rinse and repeat (and beware of Hyperdrivers, they'll mess with you big time).
Whizzard: Really REALLY not as hard to win as one might think. Explosive half-asset half-operation econ along with powerful ICE quickly blocks the neckbeard gamer out, and then you just proceed as usual. Watch out for D4+E3, this combo is a bit nasty against this deck. Definitely make heavy use of the Biotics.
Leela: Dunno man... Just score stuff the usual way, don't bother with 1-advancing agendas to turn Leela's ability off, just try to fire some ABTs and generally just win by a huge gap in tempo.
This deck is strong. And suprisingly fun! If you're a fan of pure Glacier-y classic Netrunner decks with a twist, definitely try this one out. Shout out to the Moscow Netrunner community, love ya guys!

Question: Why tollbooth, also, where did you install it most games? Score server or RnD? |

Thanks for posting, always nice to see old school HB FA do well. On that note, I was thinking a single san-san might be useful. You'd have to exchange NAPD (for CST?), Tollbooth (for lots of good HB alternatives), and wrap-around for it which is harsh but it would provide a serious threat in a taxing remote for any non-shaper player. Thoughts? |

Congrats on doing so well. I've been trying to find room for the archived mem and the 3rd architect in my original list but can't give up the caprice. Your changes look very solid though. |

Very nice deck idea. I was just talking to my friend this morning about how much faster HB needs to play I order to keep up with Whizzard and faust decks. This may be it! Congrats!
