Let swordsman ruin my day. Honestly though swordsman can't be everywhere and I have virus recursion. Classic style crypsis only noise, using stimhack, in conjunction with good econ and ice destruction bringing the pain with keyhole for a real mill-fest. This deck should turn Jackson Howard's gorgeous well-kept hair white. Stimhacks help to pay to steal agendas from servers, and get you in on a surprise. You should theoretically only need to steal 1 or 2 from a remote, the rest should come from archives/R&D...but theres also always HQ. This deck spreads the attack everywhere and slows down even the fastest of corps.
I will miss Imp though. Maybe I'll drop 1 keyhole for it, but really keyhole is the centerpiece here.

chakana is more of the long term version of source, and they do stack with each other. I don't feel like the money is so tight that you have to worry about the 3 credits. Thats what stimhack is for, the other agendas should be milled to be picked up later. |

Thing is, if you don't have the ability to dump Source on demand (without paying the 3), it opens up windows of counterplay that wouldn't otherwise be there. I've been on both ends of The Source before, and this is the best way I can describe it... Stimhack is sort of a mitigation tool vs. this effect, but I'd say it's very far from reliable, and definitely shouldn't be repeated (you really, really don't want to be running around with 3 brain damage that you inflicted upon yourself :D) And yes, Chakanas are brutal in Noise, especially if you can manage to have more than one out (and active). Then it's basically GG. |
If nothing else, that singleton Chakana should really, really be Aesop - the main point being able to sell The Source before you need to get into a remote you suspect has an agenda (get your money back, instead of paying through the nose to trash your own card). You're already running Hostages, so presumably you'll be able to find it just fine.
