My take on Desperado Smoke in a post rotation world.

Aaron is critical to avoid 24/7 Boom with no NACH. Misdirection fills in the gap left by only having one Aaron and can actually be better for dealing with early HHN plays. You can even bait the HHN then SMC the Misdirection to mess with Corp econ.

Equivocation is just bonkers good and pairs nicely with The Maker's Eye for deep digs.

The single Armitage is to cover some gaps that can show up in the econ if you don't draw certain pieces. I would rather have Peace in Our Time, but no influence for it. :/

Other than those cards, it's a pretty standard Despeeado-based Smoke list. I've been having fun with it!

Aaron does nothing to protect you if they manage to score two Breaking News before you get it on the board. And if you play only 1 you better hail mary you open up with it or draw it really fast. Misdirection is ok but again does not prevent you from 24/7 shenanigans. I would just play Sportshopper. It is not great but it does protect you for sure one time.

Also, Blackstone is still absolute trash, no matter how you look at it. I would find influence for Corroder.
