Nasir, Cyber Engineer (v.3)

CJFM 2270

(v.3) New tests: MOpus instead of Kati (might be too heavy on mem, but I've included a second Cybersolutions Mem Chip just in case), +1 Sharpshooter, +1 Atman (love these guys with Nasir!), +1 Femme, -1 each Gord Blade and Battering Ram, +1 Djinn, +1 Imp (hard to trash things without it!), +3 Scavenge, -1 Indexing... I've left in Social Engineering for more testing, but I'm not 100% in love with it. Scavenges offer more play through Femme and Atman, and recursion of Parasites/Sharpshooter/Deus X.

(v.2) Some alterations to an earlier deck. Savoir-faire allows for bursty draw-run turns with Sahasrara to help install. Want to fit in Cyberfeeders. Atmans are for sentries and Engineering can be treated as a money card in this deck. Might need another indexing or some Maker's Eye to force a rez.

Wait a minute. Heavy on mem? You're using Upstalk but not Leprechaun? Let it host Magnum and temp SMC or your Battering Ram (once you get it out) and you're golden. Thank me later.

@Lynx Kuroneko I don't really like Leprechaun for the same reason I don't like Djinn, they slow you down too much. The reason I'm opting for Djinn in this build is for its synergy with Savoir-faire and Parasite, which Nasir needs. Basically, this deck sets up its rig in stages, and keeps drawing for Mem Chips/Toolboxes. But with 8 mem, you're fine. Even 6 was fine for the most part. You shouldn't feel like you absolutely have to keep MOpus around in all cases for money. Sometimes you just really need to Scavenge it into Femme and hammer a remote server. Another thing I don't like is that while Leprechaun effectively gives you extra memory, creating program-trees is asking for trouble, especially if you faceplant into an Archer or Grim. The logic here is that Mem Chips don't require memory to set up, while Leprechaun does. If you're at your limit, set up before you get your Leprechaun (which is easy with MOpus/Ram and SMC), you can't play your Leprechaun until you get Toolbox without losing a program. This effectively means you have to tutor for Leprechaun early, which means your SMCs become dedicated to finding memory for you. I think Leprechaun works better in a Professor deck or Exile deck with extra programs for FCC (something I was toying around with for Nasir, but it looked really janky). The deck should play a lot like Katman (you need SMC for those, or another breaker) because there are some ICE that you NEED to break or you're screwed (such as Inazuma, Archer, Pop-up Window). And you need SMCs for another way to Parasite during paid-activation windows or you're going to be sorry (which you can't use Leprechaun to alleviate). I think Leprechaun is a good solution for some decks, but Nasir wants to be running early or he's going to fall too far behind. It's a good suggestion though!
