Most Wanted: Faust Turntable Whizzard

One of my favorite runner decks ever was the Whizzard L4J archetype. I feel like it took a significant hit with the MWL. While reworking it, I thought instead I'd take advantage of Faust/Wyldcakes since I couldn't fit all the fun stuff I wanted anymore.

During testing and guessing at the meta, I dropped a parasite and swapped Grimoire for Turntable. As it turns out this was the wrong call, with turntable only firing once all day, swapping a Fetal for a Future Perfect (when that point didn't matter).

At Total Escape Games SC, this deck went 3-1, narrowly losing to a very good player who ended up in the top four. My corp deck let me down badly getting agenda flooded all day, but this did well enough since this was my first tournament.

MVPs? Atman and Yog. People weren't expecting much Yog.

Overall I think I tried to do too many things with this deck, Faust and classic anarch breaker suite. If I was to do it again, I'd leave Faust as a utility and go for peddler/inject over pancakes, more Parasite, more Grimoire. Faust works much better when you are disrupting the corp (siphon/vamp, ice destruction, wanton destruction). With only a couple parasites to thin the ice, eventually it felt too card hungry. (Didn't help facing Grail/Midway...)

What can I say? I prefer french toast.
